Hey everyone!
It's that time again, the olympics are on t.v.  I was just watching the USA womens team playing Ice Hockey. Too cool.  THey were winniing by a large margin. Now Canada is playing Italy, wow two goals by Canada in under two minutes.  

Looking forward to some interesting stories, dont really care if its a lot of gold for the USA I just like to see the great stories, sometimes underdogs sometimes the favored. .... opps another goal for Canada...  :shock:

Ok, what is your favorite winter olympic sport. who are you all watching. I like Apollo Ono.  Michelle Kwan. Then lots of the others just because we rarely get to seem their sports on main stream t.v.

bouncing tiggerdude, i'm i bit embarrassed but i like the curling. never played but it's fun to watch all that sweeping, yelling and bangin of those pod thingies they skip down the ice.  how about 2010- vancouver. better start making plans. oh yum pc's by the hot tube.

How bout that Skeleton flying down the course head first or luge, feet first. Dang, its like being a kid again with your speedy sled, flying down the golf course coverd in snow! woot woot.  8)

Pool boy. I like curling too, just cause its so different. I think I would fall on my butt, even with little spikes to run along that thingy they are sweeping down the ice. hhehehehe :shock:

WOW!  Did Canada womens hockey whoop up or what. 16 - 0.

The USA won Womens soccer too 6 - 0... Oh wait Those are the top two womens teams huh!

Oh well.

Stones and a broom...is that what they are called Cheese? for Curling?

Not sure if it's called a broom but the act is known as "sweeping".  Used to reduce friction and redirect the stone to the desired position.  Usually within the bullseye :mrgreen:
