You are right there would be a lot more gay or gay friendly candidates since on average they are better educated and have greater incomes than the average American.  8)

And despite Hollywood stereotypes, not all are left wing wimps, either!

Yeah we will disagree because unlike most people I look beyond the media. I read mainstream items and out of the way material. I don't take for gospel anything anyone says, actually skim many of the most important bills myself, look at print material by reputable sources, and analzye the bias from whomever I am listening or reading. If you listen to the media and are that easily influenced then you get what you deserve. I am not a sheep.

You might be an exception.  I suspect more people rely on mainstream media for their info than don't.   I also suspect that, unfortunately, you and a pretty small percentage of folks are the exception when it comes to additional research and not taking for gospel anything anyone says.  This is looking at all social, racial and economic groups in the USA all who have the ability to vote.  It would make for some interesting research though.

Good for you for doing this - it's important to look at both sides, research out the differences then draw your own conclusions and not rely on the thoughts of others.  It is difficult in today's world where every reporter, every editor and every owner of media have their own thoughts and opinions and even the most objective source may not even realize a slant is being taken.  Just making the determination that this story is more important and warrants front page, large bold type headlines while this one is back page news and not so important is a slant.  If that decision involves politics and one story (let's say involving a candidate for an election) makes for a more interesting story (good or bad) then just to sell the story that may be the choice of an editor.  It can set the tone of an election if there is more of a tilt (even unintentionally) for one candidate over another.  But I think all of us can name situations where tilting the stories in one direction or another has been over the top.  just my two cents.

It is so nice to see right wing homosexuals not afraid to come out, even if it is just on a blog.
I am proud of you sweety. Now if you can just find Christ and turn away from your satanist ways, you will be saved.
In the name of our Lord, Amen.

Well they were until the Florida member helped lose control of congress and then the stock market collapse wiped out half the portfolios of the rest!

Yes and with most moderate Republicans gone and some soon to be the Log Cabin types are going to be very lonely in the party.
