How will the Thanksgiving tournaments effect the rankings.   Some are traveling out of state and others are staying closer to home.

Hmm where are the river city teams ?

At the end of august Fuzion was at 17 and united was unranked. Hoewver I heard from a lot of people at the end of summer saying I should have those teams switched (I think) so that might be some movement I make on the rankings.

Thanksgiving tournament wont affect it that much. For one most the kids are coming off 3 weeks of training with their club teams only. Also I know most the tournaments around are Showcases during that tournament, so that means the focus should be on playing quality ball rather then just winning.

It would be have been good to have South Hill Revolution Black in this last weekend's Field Turf tournament.   The same being said for IRC Arsenal and Evergreen Boyes.    Tynecastle and Sun City played some very good close games from the list of "bubble" teams.   I hope this tournament gets bigger next year.  Well run I thought.   No need to run to California or elsewhere when there is quality games nearby over the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Speaking of MRFC, what have they been up to? I didn't see them at many big tournaments this summer and reffed any of their games. Hope to see them around soon.

You are very right, this tournament was ran great. Only 4 age groups so plenty of field space. Plus two beautiful turf complexes within minutes of each other. And the quality of the games were excellent. I know at the U15 age group i was worried about a few of the teams, However there was really only two blowouts. Dos 5 kaos 0 and ECFC 6 Fusion 0. Other than that there were a few 3-0 but nothing out of hand. Even i was impressed to see teams like Timbers blue and Reign white holding dos to 2-1, and Dos white holding Timbers red 3-0 an Sun city 0-0. Great games overall, and for those of you that question playing this time of year its a great way for the girls to get back together and bond abit after a long highschool season.

Curious who Crossfire Williams has beaten or competed against without their A team players?  Decent team, but very average without help from their A team IMHO.

Congrats NWN Red, was their any top flight teams in Nomads, looked at teams at age group didn't see any that I noticed that we have played in the past in CA.

MRFC played two practice games recently.  They tied Reign Purple 1-1 and beat Revolution Black 4-1.

Oooo.  yeah saw that Revolution vs MRFC match.  somewhat upsetting.  MRFC controled the match through a display of bootball while Revolution worked on using the whole team to connect with passing and looked good when it came together.  There 1 goal was from this result.  You could also tell that MRFC had many players playing high school where Rev did not due to the school disctrict.  It always helps when you learn to play against older players. Physical and mental.

Any other scrimmages happening down the road?

Does anyone keep track of the fall US Club tournament/season for GU15? How are teams doing there? Any thoughts on its productivity?
