Olympia: a couple of inches, but more importantly enough to close the schools!

Snow just starting to fall in Meadow Glade. Vancouver school are open and Evergreen schools are closing 3 hours early.
If I get trapped with a bunch of sophomores Eggy will not be happy

Even as much as I love kids, sophomores are a little too much to handle.

All around us schools are closed. Puyallup, Sumner Tacoma.... Dieringer? still open!
GRRRR I'm not sending my kid to school today anyway, but geez, are they even looking at the forecast?

Crazy - Evergreen school district now closed BUT Vancouver school district still open. Are they nuts!!! poor eggy, Heard rumor from my dd that if it gets toooo bad, they will put her middle school in lock down. Crazyiness I tell you!!!! All the districts around us are closed. Oh well, dd gettin ready for school

5:00 this morning we had about an inch of new snow in Graham and it was snowing hard. Bethel S.D. closed. It's my '97 DD's birthday today so she'll get to enjoy it at home in the snow.

I guess I'll be leaving work early for a snowball fight. For her birthday dinner, she wants me to go outside in the cold and BBQ a tri-tip! What is she thinking?

We just have a couple inches. Think I will stay home today. OH...wait... I dont work. Silly me.

Tacoma schools are closed... good thing... we got home late and had a tired kid after the Candy Cane Challenge. She will be happy to sleep in... and get rested up for sledding today.

Yah snow! DH went to work. Boo work!!

Just cracks me up when I let the dogs out back to do their "thing". The 2 inches of snow just about comes up to the tiny dogs tummy. She hates it. The oldest one LOVES it... comes in completely covered with it. Middle one could care less.
Have a fun day in the snow. If you have to drive.... be safe.

I cancelled practice for my 97's last night. If it's above 30 tomorrow and the field will take it, we'll probably go. My 95 DD's coach held practice last night. I still haven't warmed up yet.

Yep, two days in a row off. But they have to make them up.

My DS is happy about this.....but doesn't have to make it up. He's graduating. The more days off the better he says.

All are home - practices last 2 days for both kids were cancelled we don't have much new snow today maybe 1/2 " but on top of the ice not nice....hopping to ge tthe tree up and some decorating done
