It will be interesting to see what is done with a 40K thread. Squash? FtB? Brat? Elmer Fudd? Dragon? Dragon Slayer? Heck maybe Gumby?

There used to be lots of people up there that had some clue of what was happening. The defeaning silence out of NWN, long past when they were supposed to have new bylaws and elections, is troublesome.

I talked with somenice parents at NWN tryouts this weekend who were not happy with all the players who left for another club down the road. Seem to me that club did not get as many at tryouts as they were hoping for.

Yes it seems the count was low and they are scrambling to field a second worthwhile team at one group I know of. Doesn't help when the coaching director is choosing the players because the coach is out of town.

The old by-laws that have the coaches as the voting members are still posted on the Web site, and the board makeup as listed seems pretty much as before.

However, per a secondary source, the new by-laws are written, and the club is headed for the first election under the new by-laws. No confirmation of same posted on the Web site. Extent of the state's actual involvement in club operations is reported to be minimal; but will be interesting to see what the new by-laws look like.

Certainly, past contributors to this legendary thread have more definitive info ...

One would presume with Schumacher gone from the state picture, that the Technical Director is now the one in charge and calling all the shots. From his entire reputation, there can be no doubt that he wants to be shed of all the admin as quickly as possible and focus on working with the players.

Still, the long delay, the lack of news, their missing their own deadline by so great an amount of time, all gives rise to speculation.

Candidate for President: John Stanley

Candidate for Secretary: Cathy Jackson

Candidates for Board Member at Large (4): Dave Gomez, Ernie Gonzalez, Scott Henderson, Mike McAuslan, Jolie Monea, Art Stella, Sheree Swanson

You can't even spell her name right, we see how much in the know you are! You are the idiot!! This is a very successful woman in both her personal life and professional life. You calling the other very successful people involved idiots just proves you know nothing.

How dare you come on here and degrade people you don't even know. These are all people who have given up their own time to run for a position to help this club grow and stay successful for years to come for the benefit of the kids. You obviously are not doing anything, so you should be quiet in regards to the people who are trying to make a difference. Sounds like you are upset to not be part of her circle. So sorry you didn't make the cut but unfortunately for you she doesn't surround herself with idiots or puppets as you say!

to you Squash! It is all on the website. People just need to read it. It states exactly what I reported above and the newest post lists the entire board while stating the other 6 positions will be voted on in June 2010.
