Advice for setting up scrimmage?
« on: February 19, 2009, 04:57:45 PM »

Hey guys, I was just looking through these postings under scrimmages - but it's looking like maybe this isn't the place to look around for a team to scrimmage (GU13) Any ideas from others where WOULD be a good place to look? (yeah, we're not in the metro area - one of these out of towners - but we travel ;->)

thanks -

Kinda just what you did soccer4.....
Maybe just state that you are looking for a scrimmage  ( hosting or travelling team )
at U13 ( boys or girls )
Leave message here in a PM or email you at blahblahblah@anyemail.com

Find a team/club with skill level you are looking for (look at PDL brackets, district standings, state cup standings, talk to parents on your team with older kids who have played, etc).  Most clubs have websites with a list of teams and/or coaches then contact the team coach or manager. Sometimes it can be challenging finding a club/team website.

What level of play are you looking for?  I am manager of a G13 team.

Yes we are in the middle of "spring" league" to be followed by state cup.  It's always good to know who's out there :D.
