Twilight Madness
« on: March 20, 2009, 12:34:53 PM »

So when Twilight first came out several years back, my oldest DD fell in love. The madness has ever so increased with the popularity of the book and movie in our house. My husband and DS get more sick of hearing about it.
I personally don't care about the hype, I just love that my DD enjoys reading so much. But I was forced to pre-pay for the movie which comes out Tuesday at 12:01 am -- seriously, at 12:01 am?? My DD freaked and said she HAD TO HAVE IT and it would be sold out for sure. The gal at Hollywood video said the same. Seriously??

Okay, I AM NOT, and I repeat -- AM NOT going up there at no 12:01 am!!
Any one else on the band wagon? Any one headed up at 12:01 am to get the movie?

BUT -- this morning on the news where they filmed out in Oregon (at some hotel) for the movie, they were all pissy about the next movie to be filmed in Canada and didn't come back to Oregon. Huh? If anyone should be pissy should be Washington! Please forgive me for not knowing the book, but I keep hearing my kid talk about it based in Port Angeles. I am not quit sure if it was filmed in Washington, but do know for sure there were shots in Oregon.

DD wants me to go out and get the movie tonight.  I'm thinking that is not going to happen.  She won't have time to watch it until tomorrow night so what is the hurry.

FtB does know one member. Went to school with him.
He is not the lead character, but is a 'main' character.

After reading this out loud to my 17 year old, she just fainted.
Thanks a lot FtB! I must go throw water on her now!

For my comment, NFW! Very cool, very cool.

NFW?
The last time FtB spoke to him is just before final production cuts.
He has been on a cross country tour since then almost.
Very strange reaction to a vampire move :P

Crazy, but kids and Moms love the books (and movie of course).
I think that is too stinkin cool to actually know a character from the movie.
You do realize all the young girls in your neighborhood (or forest) will catch wind to this and you too will become famous -- for knowing someone famous!
At least I think that is how it works?
Maybe if this statement is true I would love to have a friend who has won the lottery.

He will tell you himself, he is not a character in a movie.
He is an actor and that is all. He is not a real vampire either.
Sorry to burst your bubble. :P

Tell my animals that. Kid has a massive cardboard cut out of Edward in her room, a present from her aunt she gave to her at g'mas house. G'mas dog about freaked, and I swear to this her cat jumped up on the window sill just to get to it and began hissing at him up close and clawing his face. My DD about knocked the crap out of the cat that she was going to "hurt" her cardboard cut out doll I like to call it.
So we bring it home to watch the one dog freak out barking, and trying to attack it, while the other dog peed and shaked and ran when it got close.

I have gone up to her room to grab something and turn to leave and about jump out of my skin when I see "him", the doll.
Yeah, so the joke is he really is a vampire truth be told. Hence the reason why animals hate and fear him, along with one Mom.

Marriage is not a noun; it's a verb. It isn't something you get. It's something you do. It's the way you love your partner every day.

The older I get, the faster I was
