Obama tax cuts for 95% of Americans
« on: March 25, 2009, 12:38:07 PM »

Just adding things up today:

  • So Obama is hinting that he won't oppose the killing of his $8 a week middle class tax cut in 2010 promised to 95% of taxpayers, uh, workers.
  • He's already said he's ready to let the Bush Tax Cuts expire in 2010, along with $500 per child tax credit.
  • His Global Warming Cap and Trade plans will cost $2 trillion over 8 years, or $2,650 per year per family passed along by affected industries in the cost of goods and services.
  • His budget will double the publicly held national debt from $6.7 trillion to over $12.5 trillion after inflation, or $130,000 per family in current dollars.
  • He plans to raise taxes for the top 3.2 million taxpayers by an average of $300,000 each over the next decade, but refuses to address the impact of the loss of that private investment in revenue, jobs and businesses that won't be created.

I recall Dragon posting a website before the election where Americans could figure out their check from Obama if he got elected.  You think they've updated that website so we can figure out how big the check is that we're going to have to write and send to Obama?
