That seems to be an issue many have, but we all know every club has good people involved. If you are in a club like Crossfire and you have a great coach...great. That does not give you or them a right to turn a blind eye to the REAL issues....that's what they prefer you do.....so the money grab can stay status quo.

As for the watering, maintenance, and many others things. I have had issues with those for years...... these are not new feelings. You can ask any coach I was friends with and they will tell you to a person I always felt like the fields were never at a standard or level they should be at considering they close the fields 6 months out of the year. Can you tell me why there are holes anywhere on the fields? Why there was dead and bare spots after being closed for 6 months on some fields? I can go on and on, because the reality is they do a dead average job.

Ok, so I guess it is ok to say "ass". :)

Well i prefer @ss butt to each their own  :drinks:

So if it is the team, club, and association that I think you are talking about, then  That team won the top gold division in district play and won the commissioner cup last year and returned most all of their team.  Why would the association stand in the way of that team wanting to play state league unless they only want one club within that association to play in state league.  I think was more of a power move by the association saying if you want to play at that level then you need to play for club xx.

Defensewinsgames, as I said before, this is not about a team or the club.  Simply the rules are not posted.  Yes, the new league structure is posted and yes, I am aware of the meetings and the results of the meetings.  I have was informed of the rule changes before you even knew they were coming so you cannot throw that in my face.

You also cannot say I am not in it for the kids, I have refereed, been a board volunteer at the club, association and district levels as well as coached for 25 years WITHOUT getting paid from recreational to premier.  I have been on all sides of this fence.  You do not even know me, you may know who I am but you know nothing about me.

I even said this is not about you.  I have said I think you guys are a good team and deserve to play at a competitive level.  It is about WSYS ignoring their own PUBLISHED rules.

I personally have not been to any of the board meetings where the association has been bullying people since I have been here two months.  But I find it hard to believe the premier club is bullying people when there are other clubs there voting for the same things.

I sincerely wish your team the best of luck with your season and we will be there supporting you and watching all the way.

Good luck with the season coach.

Goldentoe - sorry if I am being dense, but what rule did WSYSA ignore here?
