Fundraiser in the Couve!!

The FCSC Nemesis93 girls soccer team is holding CAR WASH/FUNDRAISER this Saturday, August 29.  The girls are working hard to raise money for showcase tournaments and social activities!  They are a great group of girls who could really use your support!!  THANK YOU!!

What:  CAR WASH FUNDRAISER

Date: Saturday, August 29

Time:  10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Location:  Oil Can Henry's
192nd Avenue and 1st Street
Vancouver, WA
(near Walmart/Home Depot)

Stop by and see us...and get a great wash!!!  The girls are hoping to wash a LOT of cars!!

So how did the car wash turn out?

Considering the fact that it was rainy and overcast, we made a couple of hundred dollars for a couple of hours time.  Not bad, but could have been much better if we were able to stay longer and the sun came out.  :)

There are some great ideas about car wash fundraising on the web.  I wrote a blog here about some: http://www.cheetahfundraising.com/blog/summer-fundraising-season/

Best method I have seen is to pre sell the tickets so that regardless of the weather, you get your players out there asking for support.  If it is overcast, no one wants to get their car washed and therefore no one drives up to hand you $10.  Better yet, do your fundraiser online and you will make that money with just a few minutes worth of computer time.
