That is the thing about those who feel morally superior to the rest of the world.  If any basic assumption, or the facts themselves, are brought up for scrutiny, they feel threatened.

The mindview is "You canot question what we do or what we say, because we are MORALLY RIGHT.   Facts, statistics, everything else are inconsequential because we are MORALLLY RIGGGHHHT!!!!

Because Obama has surrounded himself with those type of kindred spirits, whenever anyone even dares to question the writ given down from on high, they are delivified.

Not an attack, just saying the analysis is faulty. It seems to me that the WH has been able to disagree with info without much being said in the past. What has changed?

Also, take a quick look at the other articles listed from goldengoal's source -- "Science and its Enemies on the Left:, "Unanswered Questions - Why Jews are Liberals" Of course this site would characterize disagreement as an attack. I'm thinking that Edmunds, at least in this case, is a bit more of a non-partison player where this is concerned. Just google other articles and editorials by the Edmunds CEO.

AND....It really pi(*&*ES me off to give page views to these fringe sites you guys are citing.

Now, you can argue the different approaches and methodologies all day and I support that. But shoehorning this in to some free speech, WH vs the media is absolutely ridiculous.
