but why
« on: November 18, 2009, 07:27:58 PM »

Crossfire  runs up bill at starfire for accadamy teams then says they don,t want to pay? That F-n bill

TRUTH tell me why your club should not pay

Or better yet Bernie James tell us why you won,t pay ?

Or any one tell me why they should not Pay

What lie is Bernie James telling his club ?

WOW and to think for years he called Teddy his frend And then Skrews him What the hell kind of stand up guy is Bernie James?

And why is LWYSA letting crossfire affect the kids by makeing it imposible for them to play at the facility they [Crossfire} towted as the best complex in the state ?

It is the best! and the best still play there !Maybe thats why Crossfire teams no longer play there?

If you  blind your Members  they never see the light!

someone has been forwarding all my post to nike about crossfire And I heard they now read duffers post WEIRD! TIC TIC TIC

The state needs to evaluate who they let run there youth soccer programs I think its time they split LWYSA Zone up between Northshore and Eastside Lwysa is falling right back into its past the only differance is they call them selfs crossfire now when they rip off kids!
BLACK EYES have to stop get rid of  Bernie James and the like!

Its a crime spree and I have some suspects

I think the real question is "why do YOU care"?

that's a good question but shouldn't it be why do so few parents care?

I can give you 7000 reasons I care about the issues at crossfire and lwysa and I have 7000 kids it could effect ... So although I do agree with all the duffer says... I do agree there are serious issues with many of those in power positions in the club. I would ask you, why do you seem to not care?

Come on Squash, really? Most parents want to stay free of the politics. They stick their heads in the sand when they are on a winning team. There are only a select few who are willing to upset the proverbial applecart without fear of reprisal. Most people are chicken $&^%!  :drinks:

Lefty....no offense but people want there names kept out of it because unfortunately the people they are talking about cut kids because parents complain or make negative comments about the club. You need to get off your high horse and stop thinking you are the moral and ethical standard because you are blinded by your experience. You would be one of those head in the sand parents VMS is talking about.... the standard "my kids experience was great, therefor the world is awesome.

The world is becoming more and more that way, well guess what we are messed up as a country because of that attitude.

Another example of black and white thinking, I'm afraid. In the real world good and bad exist side by side. Are there good things about xfire that lead to families and kids having great soccer experiences? Certainly? Are there things that suck and need to change? Absolutely!

Sorry, but the whole kool-aid and head in the sand gig is just another way to dismiss someone that might have a bit more nuanced take on the whole subject and who actually has some personal experience there. Yes, having actually had a good experience would seem to be a plus in my book. Who knows, maybe everyone else is having an awful time, in which case everyone can leave xfire and go to whatever club vms and onthebench are shilling for.  :drinks:

I can't think of a club out there that doesn't have many great coaches and also provides a great soccer experience to  most of its families. I also can't think of a club that doesn't have its issues.

Is it really being on that high a horse to find the irony in folks attacking other folks by name or entire groups of people as chicken(**(&( or whatever from the confines of an anonymous forum? Too lofty an accolade for me I'm afraid.

I have an idea --  OTB and VMS, why don't you pick an xfire game, maybe one that BJ is coaching. Then call all the xfire parents over -- please, don't pick a game where only the mom's are present -- and get right in their faces and tell them what you think. Yell and scream even. Shoot, cuss them a little and poke your finger at their chests. Really let'em have it. Squash, that would seem to be a step forward.

I'm not so sure that the problem with this country is that people have their head in the sand. It could be that too many folks mistake ranting on an anonymous forum for actually doing something.

Wait a minute, but I'm ranting on an anonymous forum......... :drinks:

Left foot ,my comments to Squash were made as a rebuttal to "caring". I think people "care" but are afraid to voice their displeasure when things are not as they would like for fear their kid may be cut.I am not one who is afraid to give my opinion even if it has negative repercussions.Just ask my wife! :D  I opened my trap to Lee at EFC many a time and it actually did give him an excuse to cut my kid who had been a 3 year starter!!That was a harsh reality and tough to swallow. And it certainly has tempered my mouth...to a degree. His development at NWN has exceeded our expectations and he is off to play College soccer next year...something that may not have transpired had he remained at EFC. So maybe in some twisted way being an a$$ helped my kid...

As for calling out XF people on the sidelines, why should I bother. I truly don't care what happens at XF good or bad! I just like to  laugh at the holier than thou attitude that has developed and all the controversy that has come their arrogant way ;)
Maybe my calling those people chicken shite was a little harsh. I know that most XF parents are not ; only those who fear reprisal while tolerating bad behavior ! CoolAid anyone??  :drinks:

Sorry.

What I think is that it is ironic when folks claim to have "ba&**^s" or call other folks "chicken*&*&*" while posting anonymously on an anonymous forum. Somebody have something against a little irony?

Now the other stuff where folks anonymously call other folks names that they would not use to their faces in real, honest to gosh life without getting their mouth busted -- that is just cowardly and sad.

As to the valuable information shared on this site about the goings on in particular clubs -- negative or positive -- I'm all for it. You are correct. It can and does help change things.

Oh my gosh! Not another instance of good and bad flowing from the same activity. What is the world coming to?  :drinks:

Ok. Just drop by an Xfire u-19 girls game -- whenever that happens. You can bring OTB and kill two birds with 1 stone. You 2 can lambast, belittle and cuss the parents. I think I'll be able to pick you out if you do that.  :drinks:

:drinks:

Yeah, vms, most people are chicken(&*(&*& and, apparently,  some of them hide behind a keyboard and post anonymous messages calling other people chicken(*(*&. VMS, you and OnTheBench need to get together. He or she has ba888s for posting anonymously on here....

Too frickin' funny. Ironic, but funny.... :drinks:

I wonder why you would have the response to my post   unless you too drink the CoolAid!
I said few are willing to stand up without fear of reprisal. Are you one of them then ?  ;)
And I am anything but anonymous here...vms are my initials... almost everyone has a left foot   :P ...if you are IT savvy I am sure you could find me and buy me a beer and tell me how much you love XF !! :drinks:

Ok, it sounds like lots of people know you, so your calling other folks chicken)(*&*(& is no longer quite so ironic....  :drinks:

I can promise you that this forum has made many think twice and made some clubs change how they do things I promise you they look and they want to not see the negative and are slowly cleaning up there acts! And I could give a shit less if you think anonomus sucks or not the point is change for the better !

And yes what I think is better Is better !!!!! duffer knows all!

Now do you really think knowing names changes right or wrong you f-n a- hole

Now the other stuff where folks anonymously call other folks names that they would not use to their faces in real, honest to gosh life without getting their mouth busted -- that is just cowardly and sad.

OK Left foot , give me a chance! I will be happy to tell you where to go! In person... :drinks:

Ok. Just drop by an Xfire u-19 girls game -- whenever that happens. You can bring OTB and kill two birds with 1 stone. You 2 can lambast, belittle and cuss the parents. I think I'll be able to pick you out if you do that.  :drinks:

And i already know... I should just go to hell!  :drinks:

LF,

that would probably not be a good idea to have them come to "that teams" games.

get over it, this forum is anything but anonymous...........stick around, do some homework if you're that far behind, and you'll know more here than you think.

blah blah, you're pickin the wrong fight with the wrong people

So I guess the irony is just plain lost on you folks.

Sure did rile you up though. :drinks:
