« on: September 22, 2005, 11:59:24 PM »

So who and what are the 5-10 best clubs in select in Wa.  Obviously Crossfire, Nationals who else and what are the criteria you use for the evaluation.  How about training and development, what do you think ? Different results or the same...

I think they mean overall. Top clubs top to bottom for all ages, boys and girls. Just a guess of course.

I suggest this is best done by region, as there is just not a lot of movement outside of each one - the logistics of higher end soccer are bad enough!

North: Leader - NWNationals, Others - ESA, Snohomish
East: Leader - Crossfire, Others - Eastside, Alliance
South: Leader - United/Royals, Others - Dosveedanya, ??
Central: Leader - ??, Others - ECFC, ??

Certainly seems that National and Xfire Clubs "win" the most. But is that the sole criteria for being the best? I think someone should look and see who has put the most players into college programs/USL/MSL etc per Club. That is the real definition of success afterall. Unfortunately there is not parity in the coaching ranks amongst age groups within a Club. So there are often "skip" years of success within the Clubs themselves :!:

Fair enough.  Lets assume criteria are...Combined B & G success, Depth across age groups, College placement, Out of state recognition and tournament draw.  My opinion:
1. Crossfire
2. NW Nationals
3. United/Royals
4/5. ECFC or Spokane Shadow

Yes i would agree I think crossfire is slipping thought I say they only get 3 state champs this year.they give there parent to much influence now that always screws the teams up.LOL LOL if you want a great club you need the MY WAY OR THE HIGHWAY thing with parent so your teams stay stong parent conflics are a waste of time.If I ran a club I would tell the parents to leave if they have concerns.LOL LOLSo that would put duffers club at number 1 oh I would get Mr H to run my club he,s the man that made crossfire what it is these new corndog eating clownshoe wearing furds are just screwing up his work LOL LOL
