Tornado...what is it that you're not buying?  The state made a drastic error or that the coach appealed to the state, district, and association?

You don't have to APPEAL...If it was a mistake then WSYSA CHallenge Cup Officials would correct it asap.  No teams are forced to play in either Cup.  If that was the case how do you explain Xfire having their 3rd team in the Div 1 Cup?

managers or coaches register their team in the cup they want them to play in...Plain and simple.  I know this to be  a fact because I've registered a team for two years now.  FC Crush was erroneously placed in Div 2 and they  got outta that Cup asap because it was truly an error.  If FCSC really wanted to play in Div 1 it would only take one call.

Also...do you know exactly how the draw was decided?  Reading your previous posts...not sure you do...you may want to do some research before your non-factual based opinions get thrown out on an open forum...

do you know how they decided it dr soccer?    please share- I'm always curious how they determine this, mixing pdl and non pdl- especially for U11's.
with any luck these girls will get to play a few other teams that got mis-slotted into div 2.

The draw s random at U11.  No seeding etc...Straight pulling from the hat for lack of a better visual.  I'd prefer some sort of power ranking but maybe the state is not as knowledgable or high tech enough to get a U11 rankings or seedings done right...Then why do we play PDL???

Well said Coach P., on all of the above. I have received quite a few pm's from CP's (team managers included)  stating exactly what you said regarding teams being misplaced and that the state has fixed obvious errors. Just the info I'm receiving.

So defensive Doc. Who said anything about having facts??? My whole point was/is that the Nemesis 98 yellow team should be in the Challenge 1 Cup. Is that a fact? No, just my opinion. Didn't know there was a rule against posting ones opinion on here. As a matter of fact, my guess would be that the majority of the stuff CP's post on here are opinions. Do you not agree Doc that the team in question should be playing and competing at the highest level? If you read my post, I stated "IF" the coaches chose to play in the lower cup they ought to be ashamed. As a matter of fact, I believe I gave the girls mad props for doing well all year long, but I guess you forgot to read that part. Seems as if Doc man needs to prescribe himself a chill pill, have a cold one and untwist the panties. Enjoy the teams success while your club still cares about 'em Doc.

LOL...Panties aren't in a bunch at all and you did give mad props toward the Yellows.  I also agree that the Yellows should be in D1.  The state did put them in D2 and i'm not sure how things worked in years past, but when you registered a U-11 team this year, there is no option to play in D1 or D2.  There is nowhere to put the team's season record or team accomplishments.  There's just Challenge Cup as your only option.  The coach did appeal to the State, CYSF, CYSF Rep, & it's own club to be switched to D1.  A formal letter was written by the coach & CYSF also sent a letter in support of this team's position and requested that they be moved up to D1.  All is good in the world...FCSC Nemesis 98 Yellow are in Division 1 (Bracket "B").
