Bush was elected because he was the better candidate.
And you were the one that raised an issue about my comment on Obama, quit trying to duck it now.

And a Black fellow can get elected on his own merits.   JC Watts did, as one example.   So did Cameron Mitchell, a local judge.  In a national election, we are still at the point where no one of that color has run on his own merits.  To claim that Obama would have been elected if he were any other color but Black is simply silly.  Now if Rice or Powell had run, and won, then it would clearly have been on their own merits.

I asked jjj what he thought dude about whether your statement can be taken as racist. But I'll just rest any case I might have had after your latest post. You have got to lay off the booze my friend.

Like I said, I just asled jjj what he or she thought of your post. You are actually the one using race as an excuse, although in a rather perverse way. I have made no statements pro or con. Sober up please....
