This was just sent to Dragon this evening.  It is about one of WPS's well known young super-stars.  Please read the "quoted private message" that follows:



FROM A CONCERNED PARENT:

 Dragon, A very special young lady that is very near and dear to my heart is in need of prayers right now...lots of prayers. Brooke Litsky..know to the people here as the goalie for the former FC Royals 94 Blue. She is in a diabetic coma and at Mary Bridge Hospital in Tacoma. She went to bed last night and hasn't woken up and is not doing well at all. In fact, the prognosis is not very good because they don't know how long she has been out. She didn't have school today and wasn't woken up at the normal time. Her condition wasn't know until they tried to wake her near lunch. Anything you can do will be greatly appreciated! Thank you.


Dragon is at a loss fo words.  


Dragon and ALL of WPS will be thinking of you and wishing you a speedy recover.............................

I will pray for her (and her family). This made me cry. I pray she is up and around soon. Children are more resilient than us adults. PLease keep us posted, because I will continue to keep her in my prayers. :(

Brooke and family are in our prayers too!  Praying she wakes up and heals quickly! and is out on the soccer field playing soon a gain.  :(

My understanding from reading a post in the CP section is that she is awake and doing better. Not out of the woods, but better for sure.  :mrgreen:
