was this coach and team part of the SYSA?   Does not really sound like it was affiliated with WSYSA at all.

West Seattle typically falls into HSA, not SYSA

Soccer Freak is correct.  It was pointed out to me that this team is from the Highline Soccer Association.

Bad apples can get through stringent screening processes.   Be interesting to see what Highline does in response to this situation.

Sad times.

I have a few concerns / questions...

1. What happens to these players next in terms of soccer? I know it isn't the #1 concern just yet, but eventually they will want to play again. So, do they stay in WSSC? Do their opponents respect what has happened and leave it alone (no on-pitch chatter or cat-calling)?

2. The players appear to be mostly from Hispanic families. How will this community handle what has happened?
