found this on the US Club website.  Looks like it moved from Boise in 2008 to Burlington in 2009 to Redmond in 2010

Caveat: Historically, most of our registrations are at the last minute because of how close the tournament is to tryouts. (Even years ago when tryouts were earlier).  Thus it is tough to draw conclusions about the strength of the brackets until closer to the tournament & we don't like to release that information.

I'll say this: among the teams registered are a couple teams from Oregon, a couple from PSPL, some that played in District 3.

I sure am glad the Viking cup is back! With the new turf fields there I am sure it will be better than ever. I love walking around old poulsbo between games. What a pretty town. I know we just wrapped up the youner tryouts and a few Synergy Teams will be attending it this year.

We're glad to be back!  It was a heartbreaking decision last year to cancel. This is our 25th year and it means a lot to the club and community.

Website and date are correct.  It's United Cup run by Tualatin Hills United Soccer Club (THUSC) in Beaverton.  Very strong girls club, they just won state cup at U13, U14, U15, and U18 and very strong younger girls teams.  Well run tournament, and you get to face many of the other OPL clubs.  I think they even have a showcase at the Nike campus?

rainier challenge girls weekend is june 11 but boys weekend is the weekend after, june 18.  but don't worry, the boys all do their volunteer hours for the girls tournament and the girls do their hours for the boys tournament :)

There are still a few days left to register.  Would especially like to see some more BU13 & BU14 teams.

Registration closes May 20th.
