If I was one of the parents being charged with 'paying' that I would first take pictures/inspect the sprinkler heads to see if they even meet code.  Jeezlouise...like the one comment on the article, did they have protective cages or recessed?  If not, would doubt within modern code in a school.  IJS....

Scoff...and the article suggests a 'simple' umbrella policy carried by families to cover accidents as this.  MuH?

Remember those big swinging lights that used to be in the gyms back in the day....lets just say that Yote was practicing his Meadowlark Lemon half court hook shot and somehow that light blocked the way of my ball going in the basket.  That thing started to sway, left to right, left to right, then amazingly started to drop ...must've took a minute to drop and explode on the ground....Yote was out of there quicker than you could say one, two, three....so was everybody else.  Just made me laugh...if I was the girls I wouldv'e run.
