Taxidriver;  no not nasty and certainly not mean,  I just was being insensitive/thoughtless  to HSA  Heat and EFC Pink  and realized the error of my ways and predicted the game. If I wanted to mean I could mention that EFC is 0 for four against Dynamo, never beaten them, but let's leave that alone.  The Dynamo have never beaten FC United,  like 0 and 5, just the facts, the grim hard truth.  There's no bragging in BU 14 P1 soccer, only the stark, cold reality of the winners and the losers, the teams that can walk the walk and talk the talk and the teams that can't.  Cold stark reality to date, Crossfire James, FC United and NWN Dynamo,  end of story.

You are right Edmonds, I would put Dynamo in the same class as Xfire and United. You guys rock! I would say the similarity in teams is astounding. Your "beautiful" game is amazing.I wish I could be you.......

Wow, I gotta stop sniffing the anesthesia gas...it makes me dopey....Let me see what I just read...Hmmm, Edmonds compared Dynablow to Xfire and United.... that was very Einsteinian...and I wrote that I wanted to be him. Wow...let me breathe some oxygen. That's better.
Lets see,  comparing Dynablow to United or Xfire is like comparing Charlton to Chelsea and Man United. Charlton currently is in second place in the Premiership, but NO ONE expects them to be there in the end. Better yet, its like comparing San Diego to Atlanta and StLouis in the NL. Sure they are going to the Playoffs but NO ONE expects them to be there in the end...kinda like you last year in State Cup
NEW RULES:: Never take Edmonds seriously
And you don't need to nor should you care about little ol' EFC. We won't laugh too hard when you are #4 next week and looking UP at EFC    New prediction:Xfire 5, Dynablow 1

EASTSIDE PINK WITH SOME CAT SCRATCH DYNAMO FEVER..................

But I fully realize we are not, never will be, the bar is just too high for Eastside, deep breath VMS, c'mon deep breath, oh god, that's better.....
Wow...let me breathe some oxygen. I know, I know it only hurts when I breathe, but the pain from the losses to Dynamo are just too much,  you know Dynamo make it hurt so good.  Dynamo is god,  dog is omanyd

Thanks again for your kind words PvMS, remember deep breathing and moderation,  you'll get over it,  you'll be fine, until Dec. 10th or so.  Is it starve a cold and feed a fever or feed a cold and starve a fever?  Ahh.... just do both,  it won't help either way anyway  just let nature run its course.  ;)  ;)  ;)  ;)  ;)  ;)  ;)  ;)  ;)  ;)  ;)  ;)  ;)  ;)  ;)  ;)  ;)

Edmonds, Edmonds, Edmonds...tsk, tsk,tsk... your vaunted Dynablow will fall this weekend and next... No way you beat Xfire and Arsenal...2 and 3 on October 8th...lets see that will put you in 5th place tied with Snoho who will win this weekend also ...and firmly BEHIND United, Xfire and EFC...By the time Dynablow plays EFC again, it will be a meaningless game

This just in...Dynablow has recruited Rico Palmeiro( a Siamese twin   who is a Cuban defector) for the upcoming Xfire game as keeper. Seems WSYSA has ruled it's OK for him to wear gloves on all hands...they knew he would need them against Xfire ;)  ;)

PvMS;  NWN Dynamo 4 wins 0 losses 17 goals for/ 4 against vs EFC Pink.

EFC Pink 0 wins 4 losses and 4 goals for /17 against vs NWN Dynamo.

Anyway you dice it, slice it, serve it, present it,  "numbers speak for themselves"  quote PvMS   ;)  ;)  ;)  ;)  ;)  ;)  ;)  ;)  ;)  ;)  ;)  ;)  ;)

How about a little old time music,  Peter, Paul and Mary with their new rendition of "Michael Row the Boat Ashore".

Dyna blow Eastside away, Halleluja
Dyna blow Eastside away, Halleluja

zero and four Eastside does wail, Dynaluja
zero and four Eastside does wail, Dynaluja

Eastside cried only 10 a side, Dynaluja
Eastside cried only 10 a side, Dynaluja

Eastside woes and frowns all around, Dynaluja
Eastside woes and frowns all around, Dynaluja

Dyna blew Eastside away, Halleluja
Dyna blew Eastside away, Halleluja

A huge rd of applause for a fine, fine old standard.

Yesterday by Lennon and McCartney(with apologies)

Yesterday, Eddie's troubles seemed so far away
Now it looks with  and  they are here to stay
Oh Eddie longs for yesterday....
Suddenly, Dynablow will be looking up at  EFC
There's another two losses hanging over thee
Oh last year came so suddenly...teeheehee
Why Dynablow's record turned so bad Ed refuses to say
They will lose 2 in a row...how he longs for yesterday
Yesterday, Ed crooned Dynablow played the beautiful game
Now he needs a place to hide his shame(in Standings Plus ;)  ;) )
Oh when, oh when, will they win another game...
Mm mm mm mm mm mm mm HELP!!!

Thanks Squash,  how about a little something from the late great John Denver with his new rendition of Sunshine on my Shoulder now know as Sumo Soccer Eastside......

Sumo soccer Eastside ain't too shabby,
Sumo soccer Eastside won't make you cryyyyyyyy
Sumo soccer Eastside isn't that ugly,
Sumo Eastside, the Dynamo do denyyyyy.

If they had a play, that they could do
they'd prove to you a play sure to go astray,
When they do it wrong, well they have no clue,
The Dynamo take their wrongs and get up a goal or two

Sumo soccer Eastside some may be flabby,
Sumo soccer Eastside that's no lie
Sumo soccer Eastside can it be lovely?
Eastside pretty soccer, yeah when pigs flyyyyyyy

If they start to wail, they will tell you,
they only wail, when the Dynamo start to smile,
If they seem beguiled,  and are captivated,
the Dynamo play a game sure to fascinate and tantalize.

Sumo soccer Eastside ain't too shabby,
Sumo soccer Eastside won't make you cryyyy.
Sumo soccer Eastside ain't that uglyyyyyyy,
Sumo soccer Eastside every time the Dynamo do deny,
Sumo soccer Eastside can it be lovely, yes every time, when those swines do fly

Sumo soccer Eastsidddddeeeeeeeee.

a huge rd of applause for Mr. John Denver

Xfire 1-0 over Dynamo...must have been a good game!

Saw the game and thought it could have gone either way.  Should have been 0-0 but for x-fire scoring on a scramble in front of the goal from a cornor.

Both teams had some chances, but most of the play was between the 18s.  Some very nice soccer from both sides.  :|

Great game,  Dynamo dominated the early portion of the game,  had a couple of chances and did not capitalize, conversely Crossfire weathered the storm,  and changed the flow /pace of the game, to their credit and got a goal off of a corner, whether mishandled/misplayed  or not  they got the goal.  Dynamo had other chances, good chances yet could not convert.  I felt the play went back and forth with a slight nod to Dynamo but could not score, big difference when you're down a goal.  To beat the Crossfire, you have to take advantage of when and  what's given to you and take it and make the most of it. Otherwise you end up playing a good game perhaps playing better but end up with nothing.   The rematch should be very, very good, and if the Dynamo play as they did on Saturday, they have an excellent chance of knocking off Crossfire.  This game did not resemble the quarterfinal State Cup game last year,  the Dynamo played a much better game on Saturday.  By the way, the referee and AR's were excellent,  about the best officiated game I have seen in a while,  the game had flow and a physical element to it. Bottom line they let the boys play without any cheap stuff, no cards whatsoever, I hope we get these officials again.

FC United vs Crossfire will be a great game,  right now I think the advantage goes to FC United,  they have so many options, but don't write off the Crossfire just yet,  it will be a good game.
