I see that at the U-13 level the FWU Reign 97 Purple and Eastside FC 97 Red teams both finished with identical W-D-L records of 6-4-1. So, the question appears to be what is the determining tie-breaker criteria that will separate the two teams in order to decide the wildcard for that age group.
One place on the NWCL website appeared to show that fewest goals allowed was the higher determining criteria for the tiebreaker, but another place (Section 304) had goal differential listed as being the higher determining criteria. My guess is that to be fair to both teams there is some competitive method being used to determine which of the two teams emerges as the U-13 girls wildcard.
But as to the question of the wildcard for the girls U-12 division, futbol123 fails to realize/acknowledge/accept that the THUSC Onyx did not and could not reach 8 wins in order to tie for the "most wins" tiebreaker criteria with the NWN G98 Red team. The "most wins" tiebreaker was always listed in both places on the NWCL website as the next highest determining criteria following the head-to-head tiebreaker. The Onyx and NWN G98 Red had tied during NWCL play. The Onyx managed 6 wins and 4 draws in its 10 games with its final NWCL game against the Crossfire 98A team not having been played. The NW Nationals G98 Red team played all 11 scheduled league games and finished with 8 wins, 1 draw, and 2 losses. The 4 draws that Onyx achieved equate to 8 points that it left on the table. As Coach Pele noted in an above post, the determination of the wildcard at the U-12 girls level is very clear. Unless, I suppose, futbol123 refuses to accept that the Onyx simply did not win enough of its games to advance to the Final Four.
