SOUNDERS ADD BLOG TO WEBSITE, FANS GET INSIDE PERSPECTIVE ON ’06 SEASON

(Seattle, Wash.) - - The Seattle Sounders announced today the addition of a blog to the club’s new 2006 website – www.seattlesounders.net. Through the team’s blog, Sounder fans have access to team news as well as weekly journals and comments by players and coaches.
Fans can access the Sounder blog through the ''Pressbox'' tab on the team’s home page or visit, www.seattlesounders.net/wordpress . Both Sounder General Manager Adrian Hanauer and Defender Danny Jackson have posted comments on the upcoming season.
Highlighting the new blog is a season-long weekly journal by former player, and now assistant coach, Jason Farrell. Farrell will preview upcoming games, share post-game analysis and post reports from training throughout the season.
The Sounder blog will also include play-by-play recaps of home matches; allowing Sounders fans who missed games to keep track of all the big plays. Fans can share their thoughts on each posting, and comment on give-a-ways, promotions or game experiences.
