I know it is just middle school soccer, but it was fun to watch the MS Varsity girls from different clubs play together and play against teammates, School fields are wet and sloppy, kids were covered from head to toe in mud....

What makes this cool is you have players from WPFC, Southhill, Fury, MRFC, and Synergy playing together in this league and they are all friends in some way.

Wpfc 95 ECNL 2 Varder (Michigan) 1 The WPFC and Xfire ECNL teams are at a college showcase in Texas this weekend. I hear the weather is great. High 70's to low 80's. Crossfire 95 won their game as well. Not sure who they played. Good job WA teams!!!!

WPFC '93 ECNL Gals...2-0 over Conneticut.

Both goals in second half. Next up CESA, 1:00 Sat. '94 xfire and wpfc at 9.

GU15 Cosmos vs Crush
Tough game played by both sides. It was cold, wet, cold and wet. Did I mention COLD? And raining?

Crush scores first with a PK when a Cosmos girl did a late slide tackle getting both ball and player inside the box.
a little later, Cosmos didn't like the fact that one of their players was taken down by a bad slide tackle so they put one in the net to tie it up 1-1. ( They kept that attitude to the end of the game

) And hit again for a 2-1 lead going into the break. This is where I get fuzzy... I was shivering so bad and my jacket and blanket weren't keeping me warm so I was channeling some warmth instead of paying 100% attention to the game.
Cosmos went on a tear during the 2nd half, getting the score to at least a 5-1 game. Crush had their chances but our keeper kept it out.
Get feeling better Em!
Time to warm up!

Synergy 96 Orange vs Cascade 96 Green 3-0 good game by both teams.

Close 1st half 1-0, then Synergy took over the game... 2 great shots for goals #20 , she usually plays as a Defender the whole game, nice to see her up front for little bit. Nice shot #9 in the last 2 minutes

Nice job by the Keeper and the Defense for their 13 game shut out...Keep up the great work.

CONGRATS!!!!!! to our WA ODP 95 boys for winning 4-2 in pk's (sorry Georgia) at the National Championship semi-finals in Phoenix last night.
We are so very proud of you all!

Finals 8:30 AM tomorrow against Virginia .... GO WA

btw, does anyone know if the finals will be available live online?

Aren't Georgia and Virginia from the same region? Used to be that each of the 4 regions had a single entrant?

Not enough justice from Brat on this recap (maybe it was the cold). MRFC came in and earned "goal of the spring" nominations on three of their strikes. Put on an absolute finishing clinic. Well deserved for a quality side.
