Well, I have been trying Craigslist, USA jobs, linked-on, etc, etc, etc...  No matter what I do (for the last 6 months) nothing quite compares to Referrals.
 
Dragon is looking for a job!  (most of you know who I am so it shouldn't be a surprise).
 
I am retiring from the military at the end of August.  I will be able to start working another job in mid July if needed.  Classifieds are good and all, but nothing beats a job that someone referred you to!
 
So, with that in mind I will tell you what my options are so far:
 
1.  I am waiting for an announcement for a job in the social security office that will be opening in mid July or late August. This job would be OK for me to do, but it is not a for sure thing since I may be competing with 100's of other applicants.
 
2.  I applied for a job with Cintas as well, but the on down side it only starts at 15 an hour
 
3.  I am also thinking about taking my 'series 7 exam' through Edward Jones and opening up my own office, but who knows how that will go...
 
I am willing to do Any job, but I do need to start at a reasonable level.
 
I guess the main reason I am posting this is nothing so far is written in stone... if ANY of you know of a possible job opening that would start around mid July or August Please send me a Private message.  
 
I don't have to "be rich", but I would prefer a job that pays around 20/hr or more.
 
Here is a brief resume' (if this would help):
 
LPN since 1985
Marketing Director and Director of consumer relations for international company
Director of Nursing for an Assisted Living
Manager/Administrator for Assisted Living
Recruiter (for last 9 years), top recruiter 7 out of 9 years
Duh...I have been Dragon forever LOL
 
There is much more but that is enough for now

I would consider it, but  knowing how much time you spend on WPS during the day, I am not so sure.

D you should consider getting back into the nursing side of your past and maybe getting your RN.  If you think $20/hr is enough, just wait till you see what you could be making as a nurse.

Thanks for all the continued Emails, Private Messages, etc etc.  Several of you have been a GREAT help in the past few months (you know who you are), and I will be forever thankful for all your help/advice/experience.

Just letting you all know that I have accepted a position to become a financial advisor for Edward Jones.  I start training for my Series 7 exam in July, wish me luck
