State Cup Games to Watch This Weekend
« on: April 15, 2011, 05:55:06 PM »

The olders are still in pool play, so nothing too exciting / stressful yet.
I'm looking for some good games to go watch this weekend.
Tight scores, physical battles, and good soccer between historically even (or close to even) teams.
Especially the games between big rivals who really don't like each other.
Any age, any gender, any cup.

Times and locations please.
Thanks in advance.

My kids have played for the Royals, WPFC, NWNs, EFC, Shooting Stars, Crossfire, Snohomish, FCA, Seattle United, ECFC, Torrance United (Cal-S), Arlington Soccer Club (TX-N), Empire United (NY-W), Blue Dolphins, Pink Panthers, Flower Power, Alley Cats, Green Dragons, Redondo Beach AYSO (Cal-S), and many other rec teams that I can't remember anymore.
I can root for (or against) any team.

How about a BU-14 Championship Qtr final game?

Snohomish Premier vs GRFC, 4pm Sunday at Snohomish High School.

You know, CoronaBob, there are hundreds of thousands of people in this country that live out of their motorhomes.   But perhaps you could consider settling down so your kids know what a stick built house is???    :drinks:

sun 4/17 Dos fc 93 vs WPFC at  Wilson field in kent @ 11:00.
Very tight bracket. Both teams need the win to possibly move on.

If you happen to be at Starfire for games, stop by field 1 at 11 to watch Cosmos and GRFC ( GU15 )  8)

Two great games this morning at U-10 Girls.  Purple Reign beat Crossfire-B 2-1 and Crossfire-A beat Eastside Red 2-0.  All the girls played their hearts out and made both matches very competitive and fun to watch.  So Crossfire-A plays Purple Reign in the championship game tomorrow morning.  This should be a great final match-up of two very determined young teams.

The best game at BU14 will most likely be Evergreen/Wa Rush vs. Whatcom. I'm not with either of these teams but this one will most likely be very close score.
3PM
Cavelero Middle High School
8220 24th St SE
Everett,WA 98205

The other games at this age have clear favorites

The next best game should be Snohomish Premier vs GRFC, 4pm Sunday at Snohomish High School. Although Snoho is favorite GRFC will NOT throw in the towel and will give it everything the have. If a upset is going to happen it could be here if Snoho is looking past them or does not take them seriously..
