F C Alliance has some new impressive coaches per thier website

they need a press release or nobody will know   :drinks:

Here you go.

http://www.fcalliance.com/Coaching/index_E.html

A couple USSF A coaches...

Michael Duncan – Michael is the recreational coaching director for the Northshore Youth Soccer Association and an FC Alliance Coach for 14 years. He is the WYSA Region One Development Officer and a WYSA Regional Staff Instructor. Michael holds a USSF A License, USSF National Youth License and a NSCAA Premier Diploma.

Dave Schumacher – Dave is the director of player development for FC Alliance, the technical director for the Northshore Youth Soccer Association and is on the US Soccer National Instructional Staff. Dave served as Director of Coaching for Washington Youth Soccer for the past 13 years. Dave holds a USSF A License and USSF National Youth License.

I've always thought of FC Alliance as more of a development/feeder program for Crossfire...

Adding their DoC as a coach is hardly big news.

At tryouts for an ecnl team last year, the club director told the B team they would have the opportunity to guest play with the ecnl A team.

I'm hearing that the above ecnl team is taking a player from another club over the b team players....

there was a meeting between the synergy doc and the 96 parents wonder what that was about...anybody know?

The word on the street is that most of the (Synergy) parents are not happy with the new coaches and are leaving Synergy for new and better opportunities.

From the talk that is going around, there have been girls asked to move to other teams in the area, but no one is going.
They like the coaches they play for and the teams they play on.

MRFC just lost a great coach, our daughters U13 coach has decided not to coach U14 and with that we also lost 3 other coaches that helped the team they where an awesome group of coaches IMO

don't know what will happen to south sound aka puget sound slammers.  don't even know how long they will keep this name. but tryouts for state teams aren't for awhile and i know there are girls who played for this club who are looking to tryout for teams that play in the state league.  crush most likely will lose some of their players to ecnl and RCL teams.  the u17 year is very important and these players have been very committed to soccer, but they will play where they play but probably crush no more.

Maybe Tynecastle can help seeing as though a recent discussion has them taking over the South.  :~)

Gotta question, is Tyncastle involved in any state cups, I don't recall having them listed anywhere..??

Not in any of the WSYSA state cups, they are not eligible.
Just a gut feeling but I suspect Go Hard already knew that.

No, that is why the question was asked, what state cups or events does Tyncastle participate in...I heard another parent say something about a US Club Cup..what is that and who plays in that cup??

I will say to parents whose kids will be getting a new coach for their team - do your homework and check out the new coach -You don't want to sign on the dotted line until you feel comfortable - otherwise makes for a very long stressful season.

Yup and some coaches taking on two teams, but my sons U16 team can't get a coach for anything and now the DOC is the coach until he finds someone, I thought about throwing my name out there but I think the parents have some HIGH expectations (which is not bad) I would just be a first time head coach and don’t want to deal with that lol

Define "best run" - they make money? They produce national team players? they have no complaints from coaches, players, or parents?

Define "superior coachs" - they all have the highest coaching certifications?  they develop the best players in the state without recruiting from other clubs?

Define "superior families" - they never misbehave on the field? they always pay their bill on time?  they never complain about playing time?

I would like to know what makes your club and coaches better than mine and what makes your families better than me.

Thanks Kameharem - you were reading my mind as I was perusing this blog it seems MRFC has alot of issues and drama attached to them.  Are they an RCL club - I couldn't find it, but I might be looking in the wrong area.

Don't get me wrong we love MRFC but I think they are going through some growing pains maybe, we are sticking with the club we just brought our son over just seems as though this year is not as smooth as last year was. Not sure I like coaches having to coach more then one team though, just one parents thoughts  :drinks:

MRFC might not be playing in the RCL but if for some reason my DDs GU96 team didn't work out it would be one of the first places we would look.   At least for the GU96 blue  team, the coach is about as non drama as you can get.

Alright - then why are quality coaches leaving this superior club?   If you review their Premier Coaches page, it is quite revealing with only 6 coaches moving up with their team.  Also, word on the sidepitch is they will lose the equivalent of 6 teams worth of kids to other clubs.

Both our kids played in Franklin Pierce and that ended with a lot of drama for our daughter from a new coach (Fury 97). Son got tired of being on a rec team and gave up motorcycle racing to step up to another level, he did not make the Fury team so he switched over to MFRC where his sister is which is easier for us.

MRFC-I have watched my daughter grow from playing different positions to being a beast in the net and the coaches that worked with her made that happen (all though I did help lol) the coaches put in everything they had to offer to all of our girls and this last State Cup showed just what they could do. Franklin Pierce from our few years of being with them they focused on who the "best" player was and not the team, MRFC focused on the team and made sure each girl was playing at their best. I am all about a team and not a player.

My daughter did try out for Synergy and Fusion last year and was offered spots the first day of try outs but she wanted to play for her old team and that was not going to happen according to the new coach, so she showed up on the last day of MRFC tryouts and they took her in where SHE has been happy ever since! That is huge for us, our kids being happy where they are playing not caught up in drama over who the “best” player is.

My wife just got off the line with her friend who has a niece in MRFC (who just played their last game for the team/club).  My wife just told me "I am glad we are not at that club".  In a span of a half an hour she got more info on what goes on there.  There might be teams that work, but the issues are unbelievable.  Poor board decisions, fields are the paramount problems.  "It is not about the kids with that club" is what she was told.  She was told to review this blog/posting site since alot of it is on here.  I told her that each club has there own issues/drama and is not near perfect.

Agree, every club has some problems, even the best, never will be perfect.
