Greetings!
Washington Youth Soccer would like to invite you to our 2011 TOPSoccer Coaches Education Summit. TOPSoccer is The Outreach Program for Soccer for children 4 and up with physical and/or cognitive disabilities. This summit is part of Washington Youth Soccer’s yearly education for TOPSoccer volunteers and community members. The morning session will focus on providing current information and best practices relevant to TOPSoccer administrators and parents. The afternoon session will consist of the TOPSoccer Coaching Certification Clinic which will cover topics related to coaching children with disabilities.

TOPSoccer Coaches Summit Details
When: April 30 2011
Where: Tukwila Community Center, 12424 42nd Avenue South Tukwila, WA 98168-2526
Time: 8 AM to 5 PM – Lunch break from 12:00–12:45 PM
Cost: $30

**Please feel free to attend the morning and/or afternoon session. The TOPSoccer Coaching Certification Clinic will start at 1 PM.

Summit Topics Include:
•   Working with the Players – presented by Nicole Frank, TOPSoccer Coach and Adaptive PE Specialist
•   The Role of the Buddy – presented by Scott Sandygren, TOPSoccer District 1 Representative
•   Safety and Risk Management – presented by Marty Torres, TOPSoccer Committee Chair
•   The US Youth TOPSoccer Coaches Certification – presented by David Griffiths, Washington Youth Soccer Outreach Programs Specialist, and Ray Starkey,     TOPSoccer District 6 Representative

The TOPSoccer Coaching Summit is a great opportunity for continued education and networking with our TOPSoccer and adaptive coaches, buddies and administrators that will prove to be extremely beneficial for everyone involved in youth soccer.

That would be awesome. Did you know that Maple Valley and Orting will be starting programs soon? And did you know that you can attend just for the morning sessions for continuing education? it will be fun. Think about joining us. We need more to attend....
