Okay so you guys know that I play for Federal Way United Storm '91 White, and I've been all jazzed up about waiting for my ticket to get onto the green team, well i found out at tonights practice that a player had been picked up from the white team and put onto the green team. Well the coaches didnt make their decisions at tryouts because they wanted to see us play a little bit more and see how good we were and then add more players if necessary. So I had been all jazzed up about getting onto the green team and come to find out another player got the ticket. I guess I'm just trying to say it to the world so i can get it off my chest. I just wish it wouldnt have to be this way, I mean you kind of have to think about the other kids who got their hopes up too, and then make your decisions early, so you dont break up the team or hurt them down the road. PLEASE COACHES, SPARE US AND MAKE THE DECISIONS EARLIER!!!!!!!      :x  :x  :x

The problem is that ive been patient all of my life, and have taken alot of crap about the choices I make because of soccer, or just even playing the sport in itself and at some point you feel that you just want to give up, and that no amount of work, or no amount of skill, or something like a goal or whatever will ever get the dang coach to notice you. I'm just sick and tired of being a underrated player and not being to play with the best, when I know fuly that i can play with them, or even beat them. But whatever, I'll just work harder to show the coaches that they made the wrong decision and that next year there is NO DOUBT in their mind that I should be on their team.

Try to remember some players get better with age. Some get noticed later in their careers. If you stick with it and train hard, your goals and dreams will become reality.

It's a frustrating sport, and you can't control everything. Just be patient and work on your skills and game.  :mrgreen:

Just read your thread on standings plus...I am sorry about the way you feel right now but you cannot GIVE UP to notice ones goals is to always fight your way to the top....That is what LIL CANDY CORN would tell you.....If you want it bad enough then you have to hold your head up high and keep going forward to that goal, because if you dont then you will just loose the will to play with your heart.... :mrgreen:  :mrgreen:

Oh and LIL CANDY CORN would also say to you" The future stars on wps do not GIVE UP"

Concentrate on this year and this year only...you are a great player!  Keep your chin up...and play hard for your team!!  You'll get noticed...for being a team player,...  and that's what is most important!!

I wouldn't have used gunnars words, but I believe davey should just keep plugging away.

Apple he does train extra, and i believe goes to practice and a personal trainer, so working isn't the issue. I'd agree it's not always best to say things on a public forum, but desire isn't an issue davey has. I personally have met him and seen him play, so i have a decent background of his potential. :mrgreen:

in all seriousness talk to the green coach and ask what type of player he is looking for next year and just have fun this season,  Maybe your position was stacked for Green. Don't fret this is only the beginning of your soccer journey and most likely it will get better especially if you keep loving to play soccer. My impression was that you were not happy, but that does not seem to be the case, since you are willing to give it another try next year, so yeah keep enjoying soccer. Go FC United.

For you gunnar, soccer isn't stupid in itslef, it's your situation with your team and if your going to come on WPS and say that soccer is stupid you might as well be waiting for plenty of angry replies from players and parents alike.  Soccer isn't stupid, and if you still think that then i think you are stupid.  So next time you want to say something so rick taking, try fixing your problem first and then see how you feel, but then again, I'm only 13 so what would I know  :roll:  :shock: ....."preach it brotha!"
