Congratulations Seniors
« on: June 10, 2011, 10:12:57 AM »

I just want to take this opportunity to say congratulations to all of the seniors graduating this weekend from high school.  I am truly proud of Yote Jr, but not looking forward to two in college at the same time, especially with the new tuition increases our legislature has created.  Kids please stay safe the next few weeks for sure.  This time of year always scares me for their safety.

My first to graduate and oldest daughter had her last day at Battle Ground High School yesterday.  I am very proud of her.  She graduated in the top 10% of students in State of Washington based on their weighted calculation of GPA, SAT, and not sure what else.  She also took many AP classes.  She is off to Western Washington in the Fall.  She wants to be an teacher, like her two grandmas, aunts and other various family members.  My wife currently assists with Special Ed students.  So she has it in her blood.  The qualities I see in her will make a great teacher.

My oldest DD graduated from Monroe HS yesterday! We are excited to see where life's journey takes her!  This week she heads to Illinois for freshmen orientation at Aurora University where she plans to study communications/journalism/photography - look out ESPN!  She will meet other incoming freshmen that will join her on the women's soccer team.  She has already started her summer fitness program from the coach.

Good luck to all the grads!

Congratulations to all the Graduates.
Yesterday you were the toast of your school, and the apple in the eyes of your families.
Today, you are just another unemployment statistic.

So to get busy!
