Tournament of Champions
« on: June 18, 2011, 01:21:03 PM »

What can you all say about this tournament?

One club each from BC, Washington, Oregon.

Games taken seriously or as exhibition games? Winner of games advance to another tournament?

Think it's supposed to be practice for USYS regionals. Wild card teams also included.

Washington vs. Non-Washington: 62 GF 10 GA. Since Oregon prevents its best teams from playing OYSA state cup, it can't be considered a serious soccer event. I suppose for WA/OR  it's some sort of gesture of solidarity for USYS politicians. Not sure what Vancouver's angle is.
