Weather this weekend
« on: July 18, 2011, 11:58:15 AM »

Anybody have a crappy disposition at work this morning after the weather we had this weekend?  I am in a pissy mood and need to get out of my office before I say something I regret.  Nothing like being on a 40' boat all weekend, trying to crab and dig for clams in blowing winds, howling rain squalls and chilly temps .... in the middle of FRIGGIN JULY.  Luckily the mountains were blue and I won in cribbage.  I just had to vent a bit.  AND EW .. I don't want to hear about the weather on the eastern side of the state, unless you want me making a little trek to your side for a visit...

Actually Yote, on Sunday it was hot and oppressively humid.  Felt like a thunderstorm was in the offing.  Luckily on Saturday, the weather was in the mid 80s with scattered light clouds.
We should all count our blessings.  My DS #2 is going through Basic at Fort Sill, it has been over 100 degrees there for the past two weeks.   I just tell him to "enjoy it while it lasts" and that when he is in Alaska over a winter, he will recall it fondly.

I got up around 430 to run, it was still miserable.  After 9 hrs of studying (for my exam), I looked outside and the sun is finally out...

So, I went for a bike ride to work on my tan...lol

Feels nice out now ;D
