Auburn Mountainview upset #4 ranked Kennedy HS 1-0.  An unknown Freshman came away with the winning goal  ;D

Same unnamed Freshman did the same thing to WPFC White during the last minute of OT during the the Challange Cup Finals last year.

Been watching her play for the last six months and she has an outstanding  feel for midfield. She knows were to be and knows where to put the ball.

I will bet she is going to get marked up pretty tight from here on out.

Bothell HS 4-1 over Nathan Hale last night.

Didn't go but my DD said Nathan Hale GK really struggled.  I thought Emily Boyd went there and DD said she might have been in street clothes on the bench.  Anyone know for sure if Emily Boyd is on NH varsity?

Tuesday 9/6
Jackson HS JV  4-1 Arlington JV

This is one talented group of Freshmen for Jackson.  Multiple EPD players (2 or 3 I think) and an additional 4-5 Premier club players.  3 of them made Varsity and did not play last night in the JV game.  It is going to be a fun ride for the next 4 years with this group.

That striker (#10) for Getchell looks really good. Terrace should have won like 5-1 though, they miss hit quite a few balls in the box, including an easy game winner in overtime. Both teams have good GK's, a decent defensive line and can move the ball effectively with their front line players. Heck even the JV game was pretty entertaining to watch, Getchell has a JV GK that would be Varsity on many squads.

South kitsap 11-0 over lincoln. starters came out at half and 2nd team still continued to score 6 more. There is a good mix of players skill levels and several good freshman coming up to this team this year. Hopefully they keep this same intensity all  season.
