An Okinawa update....
« on: November 23, 2011, 03:23:59 AM »

You ever wake up one day and think...really i am getting paid to live here and do this?

Earlier this week I got my highest APFT Army Physical Fitness Test score. I ended up getting a 382 out of 300 on the extended scale. Every event I had personal best as far as scores go.... I did 100 pushups, 100 sit-ups, and ran a 12:07 2 mile. I even walked for like 15 seconds on my run or I would have had a sub 12 minute 2 mile time ( i kick myself a little but I still killed it)

I just wanted to share..........

By the way the biggest thing I have found out about myself is you can accomplish anything when you set your mind on it. The only thing ever holding you back is all mental.....clear your mind of the negatives and drive on. You will be amazed at what you can accomplish.

Now when anyone ask me if I'll get a 300 on my PT test (6th in a row)....I look at them and grin and say with 100% confidence "Yes, it's the minimum for me now"

Happy Holidays Everyone on WPS...... it may not always seem like it, but I love this place and I couldn't be happier I started the site or what it's become for all of the parents who's kids love the game of soccer. All of you make it an amazing place to come read, learn, and chat about this game that we all love so much.
