I like this a lot. Instead of merging with another club and then getting into an arms race for players to compete with Crossfire and Eastside, Highline is offering something different. A Club where the player can focus on developement rather than simply trying to win the game. As for Crossfire I think it is very difficult to win games and develope players at the same time and they recognize this. So Highline becomes a farm club for Crossfire but so what. The Point is that Highline is choosing to provide a sevice to the community which is not being offered by other clubs.

A FARM CLUB for Crossfire?? Are you joking? We are talking about amateur youth soccer?

Crossfire views all clubs as FARM Clubs.... HPFC believes it too.

Maybe its just to allow Alex Weaver to coach a Crossfire team while remaining DOC of HPFC?
I agree.  Bernie is always looking to improve the coaching staff.  And there are HPFC former players scattered at other clubs for older ages because the club just didn't offer enough - there are former HPFC players already at Crossfire and making the drive before this happened.

WASILLA, AK.. hometown of Sarah Palin..  population 7500.  James family are Republicans, so the family tie exists.

Yes a great connection for Crossfire.  Next stop ... Sultan.

Ah chicken wing, the world is larger than Puget Sound.  But then, you are your Club Soccer organization have trouble with that, don't you?   If - shcok, horror - a little club from the wrong side of the mountains wins your competition, you have to go out and deny their properly gotten victory and results.  You break your promises, your public come ons to try to lure other teams and clubs into your enterprise.
So leave off mocking others who are actually trying to broaden their horizons, and go back into your little hole, and put up a sign declaring that the world ends if you are not in sight of Puget Sound.

Anyone can go try-out for Crossfire anytime. Many of the other local RCL clubs have seen their kids move to Crossfire so this is funny, nothing gained for HPFC as they have already had kids go there as well as Eastside, NWN, Alliance, ISC, Cascade, MVFC, GRFC, DOS, Seattle United, Spokane Shadow, 3- Rivers and maybe even Idaho Supreme. I'm not sure this fits the state's model of development
