Huh, news to me; I'd like to find out the answer on this one.

There's no question there has been a few issues over the years with MRFC and MRSA. Too bad the clubs in the area couldn't work something out it seems as if all the clubs want to stand alone rather than figure out a working plan.

So if the above is true MRSA would start a new premier club and then be in direct competition with MRFC?

Yes this is true. This looks to be a good thing for MRFC. They have a direction and are teaming up with Coerver. I think this is giving kids in the area a good option. They look to be dedicated to player development.
MRSA is dissolving and all the clubs in that association are going different directions.

That's too bad, I hope they all land on their feet.

This is why, according to EWSoccer that El Presidente at WSYSA wants all assets in the association to be at the disposal of WSYSA.

The new WSYSA bylaws support the termination of associations who have refused to sign the RCL Charter.

From what I understand the clubs minus MRFC voted to disband MRSA and to split the left over $ between Orting, Sumner, and Cascade Foothills. But you are right. I was not at that meeting so....

MRFC voted to go US Club and is no longer aligned with the state?

Clarification: They voted to be a standalone club with no affiliation with any other organization.

don't they have to be affiliated with someone ( WYS, USCS ) to be able to play in leagues and such?

Hmm interesting....hopefully it is good for the kids.  The only reason MRFC went US Club is because no one wanted to merge with them.

What - you don't believe that?  Go ask the surrounding clubs - they will all tell you the same thing.....This was MRFC's only choice unless the board stepped down and new people came in.  They don't play well with others.

Well, their budget should be posted on their website which shows all the available funds and how the programs are being paid.  I haven't heard anything about lawyers - why would they have lawyers and letters for what?

I was just chatting with one of my buddies who told me that the only reason a bunch of volunteers would hire an attorney ($$$$)is that the club is being hit with a big lawsuit.....

Hey Brat!  To answer your question, no....you can be a stand alone team in US Club soccer and play in league, go to tournaments, etc.  NW Premier, SSC, Tynecastle are a few examples that have been doing it for years.....NB

This is really about the failed leadership of Wys. They are in the final stage of the heist of youth soccer for personal profit. All associations' and clubs that do not comply in this final stage will be threatened with law suits and fined.

Soon, there will only be RCL clubs in Wys. if you don't like it, make your own league...

Club has not been the same since mark Obrien got tired of it and walked away.

How many DOC's have they had in the last 3 or 4 years? Harrhy, Chance, Clark is it still Clark or someone else?

The board terminated Clark this summer for no reason - There is a acting DOC for now - i think it's proud. Its really sad - they also got rid of a bunch of great coaches.
