OK, have to tell you my snow day experience the past couple of days....geesh. Went to bed in Portland and snowing like crazy, woke up in middle of night and still snowing like crazy. Get up and start heading to the convention center and 43 degrees and raining like a mother with wind blowing in from the south. Leave Portland about 2:00 and 54 degrees, no snow until about Chehalis--lots melting though. Temps drop to about 32 degrees after the White Pass exit and terrible roads into Olympia ---- WWWWWHHHHHYYYYYYYY you ask, because the friggin state plow is going down the road at 10 miles an hour with its plow up in the air. The road has massive ruts and cars are all over the place. Any chance he could have put the plow on the ROAD and cleared at least the inside lane. Thankfully, my German engineering weaves and bobs and misses them all. Hit Olympia and our governer must have called out the troops as it is fine all the way into Kent/Maple Valley. Still saw numerous cars facing the wrong way in the freeway -- what is up with that. Get home and freezing rain and our roads are terrible. Branches are breaking and the power goes out last night. Drive into Seattle and all is good today. Nobody on the roads and Yote was going vroom vroom vroom.
