Dave was a disaster, IMHO.

Boobie How? would be such an elegant choice.   He is at the age where empire building is no longer realistic, it would split the USCS and RCL factions, it would be totally unexpected.  It would defang many of the critics of El Presidente.

I have a few issues with hiring a replacement.  The job description isn't written for soccer people.  I need a blue line version that translates what three pages of responsibilities and qualifications mean to a lay person.  It seems like the more lines used to explain a duty the more hazy it gets.

All I get out of it is that WYS already has a plan and any prospective applicant needs to accept that, their job is selling it to the membership regardless of what they think is best for the players, clubs, or associations.  Naturally, they need the bio to give them credibility.   He (she) has to work seamlessly with the business men on the BOD and the DOCs of the RCL, while still serving the membership of Washington. Those are three different directions.

Can someone else sum up what it says for me?

When the PDL took the entire structure of top-level soccer in this state behind closed doors, by a one-vote margin, under the old state regime, the world for a great many well-meaning, passionate and very good soccer coaches changed.
