**I had this post in the U-11 -- U-13's...wanting to know from the higher U-Levels on this question as well~

Okay, real easy question -- which is better Washington or Oregon's ODP PROGRAM (not teams).
Would like to get Vancouver people in on this also to debate on whether you would make the drive for WA ODP or simply hop the bridge for Oregon?
 

Hear it is "easier" to make program in Oregon than it is Washington, hmmmm?
Hear that Washington doesn't scout teams in Vancouver, true?
Hear Oregon only picks certain amount of kids from Vancouver, is that true?
 

Trying to end the rumors and see about others experiences (good/bad) on each state.

Washington ODP is much better and much more qualified...

If I was from Vancouver and had a player that was top ten in the State of Washington would drive up to train with Washington. If my player was not one of the top ten would play in Oregon (save money...more playing time...etc.)

It is easier to make the Oregon State team than Washington.

Washington scouts every team that is P1 or P2 if a vancouver team (or any team) is not in P1 or P2 will struggle to make state team.

Don't know if Oregon only picks certain number of Vancouver kids, but most likely pick as many that are quality enough to make it.

Good or bad Washington is harder to make.
