**DRAGON'S U11 PLAYER OF THE WEEK**
« on: October 09, 2005, 01:49:01 PM »

Dragon have few more minutes till leave for movie and Dragon want to do something he think about long time.
Most CP's love to brag about their DD's (Dragon too)
Problem is most sites don't allow players name or #'s.  Well this site does

Every week after games on Saturday email (private message) Dragon. List the players first name or nickname and #.  What team and what position they play, and a short paragraph on why they should be Dragon's "player of the week".

Each week a team of 3 Soccer specialists (me, myself, and Dragon  ) will review the entries.  By Sunday afternoon or evening Dragon will announce the player of the week.  (ie; Dragons player of the week for week #6 is....Sally sue from the oyterbay sharpshooters!) and Dragon will give description of what they did to deserve this very special honor! (heck, it's better then student of the month  )

You do not have to nominate your own DD, you can nominate someone else's if you wish.  They do not have to score or block 10 shots........just whatever you think they did that deserves special recognition.  It could be as simple as their first header in a game or their first left footed pass.

Dragon off to the movies now, look forward to lot's of special nominees.  Please include a little back ground if you wish, (ie; been playing 5 yrs, this first year select) or whatever you wish.

Dragon will announce winner tonight before Midnight

Dragon thank CP's for all the wonderful response and nominations for POTW!

Couple rules for CP's:

#1 Since so many nominations are coming in, please limit post to just 1 post (if you need to add something then just hit the "edit" button and resend).  Don't want Dragon mailbox over flooded. ;)

#2 Please keep nominations for what the DD did in this past Saturdays game only.  Lots of DD's do great things all the time but since this is on-going, weekly thing, please limit great stories to just what they did at the last game. ;)

#3 Dragon will keep going over nominations as long as they come in, cut off this week will be 9:30pm.  Next week cutoff time 6pm on Sunday ;)

Keep those nominations rolling in, Dragon love em

Who will be the first ever Dragon-Player of the Week?

Times up.  Dragon's first Player of the week award winner will be announced moments from now :D   (or as fast as Dragon can type it)

Thanks to all the CP's for casting their votes.  A lot of DD's got nominations, but only (1)?, can win ;)

Some of the DD got votes from 2 or 3 different posters!!!!!  That surely sets them apart for week #5.

Good luck to all, Dragon let all you CP's know who won in few minutes ;)
