EVERGREEN SOCCER ACADEMY'S #8 EMILY
EMILY #8 ESA- Emily plays mid for ESA, in this weeks game against the Chika Lobos the game was tied 0-0, each team was playing their hearts out. With only [/b]seconds left
Emily took charge of a loose ball and began dribbling along the 18 yd line, avoiding defenders and with her face a mask of grim determination she made her cut and let go a ROCKET
with her Left Foot!
The defending goaling dove to her right but the ball was a blur as it slammed
into the back of the net. It was the game winning goal
that every little girl dreams about making. Emily's team won the game 1-0.
Congrats to Emily from Dragon, and here's to many more game winning goals
and the second player of the week award goes to...........................

MARYSVILLE FORCE'S #3 SOPHIA

FORCE'S #3 SOPHIA
- Plays right mid-field and is only 9yrs old!
. Sophia was more then ready to face the Extreme this Saturday. With only 10 minutes gone by she had the chance to take a corner. From the left side she kicked the ball into play, her team-mate passed it back as Sophia checked to, she then 1 timed the ball
straight to the back left corner. The ball was struck with such accuracy that the goalie didn't have a chance. Never fear though, Sophia wasn't done. Only minutes later Sophia took a free kick from about 25 yards from goal. The ball wound up getting rebounded and was getting cleared as Sophia stormed towards the 18 yd line. Again She 1 timed the ball
and this time is was on fire. It slammed
into the upper left "V". This gave Force a 2-0 lead and wound up being the game winning goal
! Great Job Sophia, Dragon gives you a bid congrats
