Per request of a Dragon supporter, Dragon will do Pred.'s for our DD that play in GU11 SR Bracket.

(2-2-1) CELTIC  VS  (0-4-0) HOTSHOTS-  The DD's of the Hotshots have not pulled out a win yet this year but are due a BIG game.  They have only given up 8 goals so far this year.  If the girls give it everything they have got it should make for a good battle and might even catch the Celtic off guard.  Celtic have been consistant closers but have let a few by as well.  Should be a tougher match then Celtic expects.  Dragon says:CELTIC 1-0

(0-4-0) BABY AANVALLEN  VS  (3-2-0) BABY ROYALS- When you put the highest scoring team in SR together with the team that has allowed the most GA, it sounds like a recipe for a blowout.  Dragon thinks the Baby Royals must have "super speed" on their team and are always "pushing" towards the goal, If Baby Aanvallen utilizing their passing skills and works around the defense instead of just kicking the ball over the defenders heads they may even get a goal or two in, to score their first goals of the year.  They will need to catch the Royals when they push too far forward.  Great passing and winning the 50/50 balls can over come speed.  If Baby "A" does this they could give the Baby "R" a match to remember.  Dragon says: Royals 4-1

GOTW-(5-0-0) REVOLUTION  VS  (3-1-1) STRIKERS- This gotw will feature the battle of the top two teams (so far this year).  It should be a great match up.  Rev may go into this game a little over-confident and get caught off guard by the hungry Strikers.  Both teams have good offense and solid defense.  This will be the big one in SR this week that will have the CP's hooting and hollering at the top of their lungs.  Should be a great one.

They all sound good to me, even tho I am a Baby Aanvallen mom.
Tonights practice was by far the best they have had. They all showed aggressiveness on the field and wanting that ball. Passing was fairly good too, with my own kidlet being a ball hog!

We also play Hotshots later that evening. Any preds?

Holy Moly, if Dragon know this game gonna play Saturday Dragon make this game of the week, but since Dragon already choose GOTW, then Dragon have no other choice but to make it:

This game will have 2 "dog-tired" little DD teams who (if Dragon predictions right) will both be 0-5-0 when they meet face to face on the pitch.  The storm clouds will be rolling in as the gods on mount olympus (or mt rainier if you prefer) will be hovering over to catch a glimpe of this extreme battle of Heart and Willpower.

There is only one thing in this world more exciting then when two undefeated U11 G teams face off, and that is when you have two
WINLESS teams go head to head.

Oh Dragon Love to see this match up if Dragon was still down here.  Each sideline of CP's will be holding there breath and blood pressures will be sky high as they know that finally they will walk away with some points.  1 for a tie, but maybe for a chance at 3 points and a victory!!!!!!   If you want to see a group of little girls (and CPs) who act like they just won the world cup, then check this game out.  Dragon would not doubt that many a tear will be shed after this one, tears of joy and tears of sorrow (mainly by the CPs )

Most of Dragons joy not in the prediction of games but in the anticipation of the game.  Dragon would guess by looking at score boards that he would pick Hotshots because they have actually scored a goal or two.  But Dragon not want to mess up great build up to game with stupid prediction that mean nothing to the girls on the field.  Both teams will play with heart and fire.  Both teams will play their hardest because Dragon is sure on the ride to the game the CPs will be blah blah blah about you have not won a game yet, and both teams will be aware of this fact.  Thats why this game will be so darn fun to watch.  Each team will be giving 100% and Dragon Predict Great game and thats fo sho :mrgreen:

From observations of a prior match, there is one gal on the Celtics who is absolutely driven and once she channels that energy into taking the ball home, she'll be a force to be reckoned with.  Not my DD team, just an observation.  

Last weeks game Rev vs. Royals the Rev's had to fight hard to win, and it was won in the last few minutes of the game as the Rev's lifted one over the Royal's goalie - and almost became a tie as the Royals nearly scored with only 1 minute left or less.  That tough game may have made Rev just a bit wary!

This was a FUN game to watch!
The "Baby A's" did a good job at holding onto the ball and passing. Even some fancy footwork thrown in. They scored first, ( you probably heard the cheers in Auburn, we played in Federal Way !)    


 ............ .......but it was called back because of an offsides call! GRRRRR    lol
I may have to put that offsides girl on restriction!

Hotshots did a great job too, of controlling the ball and passing.
They scored the last few minutes of the game and took home the win.  

What really brought tears to my eyes, wasn't the loss, but the fact that the Hotshots team showed class by coming over to our parent line and sang, "We are proud of you" as our girls went through the tunnel.
 I am proud of both teams. They played well, with heart, and still walked off the field with a smiles on their faces.
