ok thought i would make my final 16 predictions

Round of 16
Germany will beat Sweeden, it will be close i think sweeden is pretty good but klose will lead germany to victory
Argentina will beat mexico, just to much power for mexico to handle, i say 3-0.
Next game between Italy and Austrilia, good job for the ausies making it this far, croatia was good but Italy will beat them 2-0.
Then switzerland and ukriane will be a close game, ukraine will win though.
England and ecuador should be a really good game, ecuador is good, england will beat them 1-0.
Portugal and netherlands... netherlands will win 2-0
Brazil and Ghana Upset Ghana wins 2-1...sorry i dont think brazil is that great anymore and ghana is pretty good.
spain will beat france 3-1.

Quarterfinals
Germany vs Argentina....argentina wins 2-1
Italy vs Ukraine... Itaily wins 2-0 Ukriane isnt that good
Netherlands vs England...Netherlands will win 2-1
Spain vs Ghana.... good run for ghana but spain is to good...2-0

Semi finals
Argentina vs Italy......argentina is amazing...they win 2-1
Netherlands vs spain....spain wins 2-1

Final
Argentina vs spain..... It will be one of the best world cup games ever...not sure whos going to win though, these teams are alot alike...I say Argentina wins[/b]

I like Argentina as well.  Tough game with Germany lies ahead.  If they can get by them I don't see any reason why the can't win it all.

Gotta agree Ghana has a great chance at upsetting Brazil.

Brazil will beat Ghana. Ghana had a nice run but Essien is out a key palyer for them and I believe several other key players. Brazil will score quickly and then just play around with the ball the rest of the game... like they normaly do!  

I still like England and Germany to continue on too!

Germany was killer this morning. 12 minutes into the game it was over for Sweden.. Two goals the first Nail.   37th minute second yellow for the Sweden player and the second nail in the coffin. Late second half a penalty kick... soars over the top.. three and four nails in the coffin good by Sweden... you played fairly well but it wasnt enough.

Argentina and Mexico surprised me... 1 - 1 right off. wow. then 98th minute goooallll Argentina

I still put Brazil in the final!  Maybe Germany, maybe Nederlands. BUt probly Brazil vs Germany.. I think thats possible right?

ya taxi its your opinion but i dont want to see germany their i dont know why i just dont like them, there good but dont think good enough. I like brazil alot and cried after they lost in 98 to france and was jubilant when they won 2002 but i just dont think their good enough to be in the final, if they beat ghana they definitely wont beat spain

Ghana is going down!  Spain is going down!.... end of story. I dont think either team is as strong as Brazil, or as deep as Brazil. Kaka, Adriane, Ronaldinho, Ronald0( even heaver and slower is still wicked with his shots). Juniho, Robohino, Gilberto... I could go on and on. No one else is as consistant and deep

I have to agree with you, Germany is suspect. although today they looked really good. I missed the most of the Argentina... was Mexico that good or was Argentina having a tough time. I will say Messi is awesome. three and four guys on him and he still gets away with the ball wow!

as deep and good as a bench brazil has...they just dont seem to be as good as they were in 2002. With brazil its all about consistency and i really dont think they've been very consistent, against japan the second half they played good but robinho,Adriano and Gilberto all arent consistent, they have games where they play pretty good and then games where you dont even hear of them, spain is one of the most consistent teams ive ever seen besides our highschool team of course haha. kidding but really dont see germany or brazil in the final. It will be spain vs Argentina...Argentina and Mexico is a hard game, they are alot a like in style of play, both are physical and both like to attack and take their time getting back on defense. Counter attack was a big part of the game that neither did very good on. Argentina's game winning goal was the goal of the tournament for me, off the chest out of the air over one of the best keepers ive seen this tournament. good goal, good win for argentina
