Crossfire james beat us (fwu storm) 5-1 today. we had a 1-0 lead for about 20 minutes untill crossfire woke up and put in 2 goals so 2-1 at half.and then we just let in a few in the second half and they dominated the midfield and that was that.so any other scores??

Emerald City/Crossfire B

Emerald City put a hurt on Crossfire B 4-1.  Beautiful header on a screaming cross by EM City player and a nice job by the EC forward to beat three defenders and put the ball in the upper right corner.  No less than three one-on-one opportunities by crossfire forwards to score against the goalie, just could not finish.  Thought Hattrups boys played well, just not our day.  Next great challenge is the A team.  Can't wait.

I was right. Someone hit the cross bar. Some great soccer was played. someone shot wide. and the referee missed both a couple hand balls. ( I am talking hands in the air knock the ball down, handball, not the cheapy ones that are hard to see!). A referee missed a offside call too! ( but that was me... just kidding. hehehehe) ....

My predictions for the future coming soon.....

Yeah I know, they, three rivers just seems to squeek in a goal here or there, or bump you just right so that you can't score and the ref. doesnt call the foul.  Its crazy!

we were fortunate in the referee we had. he was easily the best official i've had over there and i blame nothing of what happened to us on him. there was a tragic change of calls by the AR, however, that i did take issue with. the greatest blow struck against us though, was our own tactical manuevering (substitutions and formation changes are the start of our downfall each time, as you saw in the initially even South Hill-Eastside game that turned into a resounding victory for the latter team), as well as unnecessary and immature panic. 2-0 until the last 15 minutes saw a Liverpool-esque comeback for a 3-2 3 Rivers victory. it really could've been 5-0 South Hill. this weekend we were unlucky not to beat Rainiers, doing ourselves in by missing a penalty and a few golden opportunities, including a chance that was harder not to capitalize on than to scuff. these are all part of the game though, however frustrating, and we must fight on and see if we can find some luck of our own and recover from the ass-whooping we've put on ourselves.
