It breaks down like dis:

BRACKET A


HAWAII - If they beat NWN Red today, they are the winners of this bracket (unless they only win by 1-0 or 2-0, and NWN Blue beat EFC Red by 3-0)

NWN Blue - Have to win today to advance, if they lose 1-0 they would stay at 13 points.  Hawaii also have 13 pts, to would go to tie breaker.  NWN blue have to win by at least 1-0 (8pts) and hope Hawaii lose.

EFC Red - needs Hawaii to lose and get Shut out.  If Hawaii score 1 goal they would have 14 pts and tie them even if they get 10pts today.  Eastside MUST win by 3-0 or better (to get the 10 points and hope Hawaii gets shut out or loses by getting more then 2 goals scored on them) since not sure if tie breaker is head to head or GA.

Prediction - It's a toss up!  Any of these teams can still make it.


BRACKET B


CROSSFIRE - has this bracket sowed up with a win today at 800am.  If they lose they won't advance.  Even a tie they should be good.

SL SPIRIT - Bottom line, Beat Crossfire and you win the bracket.

Prediction - Crossfire no sweat


BRACKET C


ECFC Green - Bottom line, win today or tie and you win da bracket.  Only a loss and a 10 pt win by EFC white would knock them out.

EFC White - Must win 3-0 or better and hope Emerald City lose.

Prediction - ECFC wins


BRACKET D


NWN RED - win today and you in.  Tie and you can still win if the Pat's tie again or lose.

PATRIOTS - You Must win today, a tie is no good unless NWN lose. If the NWN team tie 0-0 and get 4 points they will have 17 total, you would need 10pt game to get to 18.

Prediction - NWN may tie, but Pats may not get 10 pt win.  Its a toss up between the two

Wish we could make it up today but....  we are watching Thenry14 at Starfire today.  Boys U-17.... wow... in first game yesterday FOUR Red cards handed out.  :shock:   2 on each team.

I watched the NWN v Pats game from the end line in the shade.

It seemed the entire game went like this:

It's Pats with the ball and attackinig Reds goal pounding on it.....but wait.  There goes NWN and they have the ball and pounding on Pats goal......but wait.
Here come the Pats again.....shot miss, shot miss.  Pounding away with keeper and defense making great saves......but wait.  
There goes NWN again....shot miss, shot miss.  More awesome saves by the Pats D and Keeper.

How do those girls run so much :shock:

This game was back and forth all game.  I would give advantage to the Pats as victors of a 0-0 tie.

I agree on your assessment of the '94's and will inlcude the '93 Pats as well.  Although, part of me doesn't want them to be in the PDL.  It will be fun watching these two teams knock off some of the so-called "super clubs" come the state tournament.  

I will continue to watch these two teams with much interest and hope they bring about some much needed change in the Renton Area.

This is so frustrating when you have a major tourney and you can't relay scores to the general public.  Maybe we want to go to a game and only have so much time during the weekend to see a game, you would like to go see the game that is competitive.  Maybe a person from ECFC can explain what happened with their scorekeeper for this tourney.  They should have made enough dollars throughout this weekend to hire somebody for a few $'s per hour for their time.

How about having one of the Refs mark the standings board after the game.  I know they have lots to do but they would be the "official" of the game with the "official" results.

See how easy it is, except at LPT's our ref had the wrong team winning and they posted the wrong team winning on the board, until we caught it and they go the ref to correct it and then they posted it correctly on the board.  Maybe not such a good idea.
