Called someone  - Diadora web site of little use -   Final will be Patriots v Crossfire.    Sounds like the Hawaii - Crossfire semifinal was a doozy.

Great game as both teams had chances.  Went to PK's tied after 1st 5 Hawaii had a chance to win it on the 5th kick and missed.  That gave Crossfire life and two kicks later Hawaii need to make it to tie and the ball went wide.  Great semi.  Congrats to Hawaii as they had to play tough teams all weekend.  Very strong team.

Congratulations to the 94 Patriots and Crossfire teams.

I watched 2 of the Patriots games this tourney and was very impressed with them.

I didn't catch any of the Crossfire games, but have watched them many times before and what PandJ said, is very true. Great Defense! Not much gets past them girls in the back.

The Diadora tourney was great fun. The U12 teams worked hard in the heat and learned a lot out there over this long weekend.

:D  :D PandJ thank you. Your team played wonderfully and is one of the top teams around. After the game last week at Portland I talked to one of your parents and she said some very nice things about our little girls. It was very nice to hear from another team instead of the usual. The game went back and forth the whole time and your girls played with heart and skill not backing down or giving an inch. Thank you and see you soon............... just not too soon. Both teams have some tired little girls after so many games in a ten day period. :D  :D  :D  :D  :D

Time for me to step in and give the Patriots some major props.  We all know that Crossfire is very, very good and I respect them tremendously.   These Patriot girls, though, have been scratching and clawing every chance they get (figuratively of course, not literally) to earn their respect.

It seems the Xfires, EFC's, ECFC's, NWN's, WPFC's etc. get their respect from the start and work hard not to lose it, which is no easy task.  That fails in comparison to what the Patriots have accomplished, IMO.  This is one group of girls that I've had my eye on, but now have earned my total respect as a team.  Well Done!

Congrats to both Porter's girls and Patriots on a great Diadora Cup!  :D  :D
