Since it is just a friendly does that mean more than two subs will see some field time.  Kind of sad when ten year olds come to see coach sit on bench the whole game

tell me about it.... I used to be a starter, but daily life (LPT's and wedding) has got me ridin' the pine.... splinter picker and Dragon... I need your help!

Here's the thing:  We are considered a PRO team, as there is no other higher organized league for women to play since WUSA folded.... as this is a friendly I would say I wish I knew more than 2 subs would occur, but that answer is unknown!  When it comes to the season games, we are only allowed 6 subs anyways and these have to be used wisely (I'll use France as an example in the finals, best goal scorers on the bench or ejected leaving weaker PK takers on the field!!)

It shouldn't be a bad/sad thing for your dd to see coach sit and not play, as it should be a life lesson instead.  Everybody, awesome players and weaker players, have to sit at some point.  All the girls on this roster are amazingly talented women who at some point never sat the bench.  It is a life lesson for me as well!  I am even more supportive of those who get the call off the bench.  Hoping that will be their chance to prove that they deserve a spot on the field.

Sitting makes me more of a team player!   It should do the same for your dd.  Take it as an advantage to see the game from a different perspective.  Watch the game, study the game, study the opponents weaknesses and attack that when your chance comes... this is how you improve along with PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!!

Hope to see you there... it'll be a great motivating game for girls of all ages!!!

Great points for all of our girls to read as they move up the select chain.  It is not a bad thing to observe from the bench. Because you can be even stronger coming off the bench and provide your team a lift from being fresh and watching the game!

Should of said hi!  Great game to watch.  2 very different styles.  One goal but if each team scored on 10% of their chances it could of been 5-4 easy.  Very exciting game.

All you rubes were clueless.  This guy was right there in the mix.  If you wonder why the score was so low it was because all the tarts on the field were looking up in the stands to check out this guy.  Hard to ignore the Love Train when he's giving off his extreme musk of machismo bubs

I learned you don't have to kill the ball to make a goal when the keeper is out of the play, a small kick is sometimes better.
