I remember this tournament to be a really fun one for us last year. I had one in the Beaverton Cup and one in the Portland Cup. Up and down the freeway but hey what memories :lol: I wish you ALL the best. Would have liked to have gone to this one.

Should have posted earlier,but Blast are gonna struggle bad at this Tourney ,as they will only have 9 players for Fridays game and maybe full team for weekend games.Lost goalie, and another starter to broken leg this week and other players gone to other activities

Its a shame for this once very good team,they cant seem to get full squad to Tourneys. :shock:

OK ... its REALLY hot here. Its 2:30 and its 110 read in the car (and posted on the bank); which mean the pitch is

? Rotating players is the only way to get thru the game, but with subs every few minutes its hard to get flow to the game. Report on Force '93 game which I watched (don't have a daughter on this team). Force had numerous opportunities, especially in the last half. but can't put the ball in. Hopefully they'll work this out. Must say, Liberty is a great team, super ball control and movement. Both Liberty goals were on corners that flopped around in front of the goal. Force had a good goal, and a few that just missed. 2 Liberty 0 Force

Nemisis, very nice looking team even with out guest players.Big, strong,team.Not that it matters Victory, but did your count include the player on bench with cast on leg and forward who stood at center circle whole game who got cast off yesterday

Not for me to worry about. Just a CP and ride provider for 3 girls down here. All 3 girls and my self are having a great time.

WSM-FURY 0 V 0 MUK-BLAST exciting game, back and forth, Blast a few more better chances, just missing header on corner near end of game.Blast did have two more players make it back down in time for games.The other players were real happy to see subs :lol: :lol:

:shock: Why is it such a big deal to get subs for a tournament your team signs up to play in? Shouldn't the team as a whole want to attend the tourney? Hmmmmm. .... aren't they supposed to be one of the better teams? I don't get it.

I would assume the coach feels the same way. This is Premier Select soccer and most of us Involved know the commitment level this takes. Maybe coach should have taken poll before signing up team on players available????The Blast (it sounds) did take some unavoidable hits this past week with injurys and departure of player though, and those are things you dont know (about) when you sign-up.It looks as though they've held thier own ok this weekend.Hey more playing time for those that are commited :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Coach didn't lay out schedule and expectations--this is called lack of communication, unable to plan a summer schedule and the players/parents not committing to what the team is doing.

Looking at the depleted Blast roster at the tournament, does the GU13 Blast have a few openings and looking for some new players to pad the roster? After a hot summer of tournaments (near 100 degree temps) there might be a few very good players looking for a change of venue as they just don't want to travel the rest of the year with the current team (for various reasons).

How does recruiting work after the tournament dust settles and before the Fall League games get started.
