Hefe’s child came home back in ninety-four
she was so precious and the parents did adore
and there was fish to sell, and bills to pay
she always loved to smile and she loved to play
And she was talking before he knew it and as she grew
She said; “im gonna play sports like you dad,
You know I’ll be a pro like you".
And the ball and the pitch and Lil’ lemon slice
sugar and spice and all things nice
when is the game time, dad, I don’t know when
but we’ll get ya to the field on time gal,
you know you’ll have a good time then
Hefe’s DD turned Eleven just the other day
She said “thanks for the ball, dad, it time to play
Ricardo’s gonna teach me some skills” Hefe said, “yes OK
aren’t cha glad that your playin for ESA"
and as she walked on the pitch her smile never dimmed
and said; “I’m gonna be like him, yeah
you know I’m gonna be like him:

Well she came home from college just the other day,
so much like a lady that Hefe had to say,
“Darling I'm proud of you, can you sit for a while”?
She sat right down and said with a smile
“What I’d like to do is to thank you and mom,
you know you helped my dreams come true, Dad,
you helped make my dreams come true.

Hefe long since retired, Lil’ lemon slice is away
she's playing in the Olympics for the USA
she says; “I never would have made it this far,
if it was not for my dad”
Her parents just smile and it makes them glad
And as she stood under the lights in the stadium
She slowly turned to look up into the crowd
And she smiled, and her dad was proud
