I think you are overlooking the smoldering powder keg of Shoreline.  They could really explode in this tournament.

I haven't seen this team before.  Wondering if they have played  in any tournaments over the summer.  Anybody out there know?

They have good size, they all look like they could be U13-U14 players.  They have blazing footspeed, jaw-dropping ball skills, and yet they play unselfishly and so collaboratively that it seems that they are reading one another's minds.  Their goalie is basically an 11 year old female version of Spider Man.

J/K I have not seen them play.

Your clue was my final line:

"J/K I have not seen them play."

"J/K" means just kidding.  "I have not seen them play" means I have not seen them play.

I guess it was a little too subtle.  Sorry.

They play in Skagit Firecracker. Most memorable game was with ECFC Green where they held a potent offense at bay. WTG Bandana Girl!

They also play in the Snoho tournament. Most memorable game was they tie the great Snoho United team

They also have great sideline support - an enthusiastic, positive and LOUD parent cheering section!

I got to go with Rock on this one. I saw all these team play at Snoho and RC and I have to admit the MV Strikers have a lot footskills, power and team play that is a wicked combination. When they are on they are unstopable. Ask ECFC that had them beat only to loose in OT.

Agreed.  The Auburn Strikers are fierce.  They took apart very strong teams, Mukilteo Angels and CB United 95 Navy, 5-0, 5-0, and 1-0 in the Mid Summer Classic.  Impressive.

Strikers are not my favorite team but I think they are a lot of fun to watch.  The way they move the ball inside-out and left-to-right reminds me of girls three years older.

Go Strikers and Take Courage with You
