DD thinks ESA should be called  MarysGreenLake or EverStevensVille or GreenLakeVille now.

Will they change the name?
That is good  :?: we should do a poll on what new name should be you start

Well, you have to have some rules.  This isn't AAU.  I would say it IS bad for development if you tear apart 5-6 rec teams of 9 and 10 year olds to make one super team.  Look how many kids you are leaving out.  And again, 10 is too young to tell who is going to be a player and who isn't.  The biggest, strongest, fastest kid at 10 may be thoroughly average by 13, I think we have all seen it happen.  Whereas, one of the smaller, weaker kids at 10, if they stick to soccer, can end up being one of the best.  But I guess if we are showing everyone the door who doesn't make the "challenge" team at 9 or 10, we will never find out.

Its funny how people talk about the PDL as the reason the Force had to move.  Has anyone really found out if the Force moved? No, just a bunch of CP's having fun. Do you think the merge has to do with the PDL? Nope. In order to compete with D3, you have to have the draw they do, and be able to have teams at U-10. Funny how people love to gossip. Good luck to the person who started this! BTW, who said Marysville and Lake Stevens are joining ESA? Maybe ESA is joining Marysville and Lake Stevens and ESA has to change name and colors.

I think Force 95 had to merge into the PDL because D1 shut off any and all options to play compeditive soccer.  Force could not play up or outside of D1.  What choice was left for them?

I agree with Rock.

Sometimes you gotta 'think outside da box' to get what you want.

Not always an easy choice....but I think they made a good one here.

Good Luck Posse ;)

Hey "Yes" and Cheese, do you realize what a shoe-in you'd be if you ran for office in D1??  You could run on the "WPS" candidate platform.  Post it here and you'd win in a landslide!  I know I'd vote for you.  I think our children would have a much better experience in D1 if there were people in the decision making process who actually had kids playing within the system.

Cheese gets my vote! And I know he'd get the backing of the Dairy Farmers of Washington!
